I want to call this a fairly solid game and maybe if some of the technical issues are resolved and online gameplay is added, it could be a pretty solid game. As of right now it's just mediocre but it has its moments. If you like sniping games such as previous Sniper games or Elite Sniper, you'll probably like this one.

This game tried to actively stop me from playing it and eventually it won. Sniper games are something I love, and there is a great game here, but it is buried deep under bugs, assumptive tutorials, and other problems.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 has to be partially excused for some of its shortcomings, given CI's inexperience at producing larger scale, bigger budget games. It does have a pleasing core experience that is sadly let down by, more or less, every other facet of the game. Come for the poor load times, the dreadful writing and the painted-on, wooden expressions the game's cast has, but stay for the sniping. Because the sniping is great.

There are a lot of cool ideas here; the crafting system for example is robust and interesting, but it doesn't make up for all the issues the game has. Tie that in with the complete lack of originality and Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 feels like a half-baked attempt at the genre. It could have been great; it SHOULD have been interesting, but in the end it just ends up frustrating and disappointing. There are much better games in this genre, and there is little reason to invest in this sniper's mission.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 has the potential to be a solid B-tier title. Most of the good trappings of open-world games are here, and the sniping mechanics are as solid as ever. The missions provide some great variety since you can take different approaches, and the crafting and different weapons are nice to have, even if you never use more than your default set. However, the presentation isn't up to par. Some of the mechanics are finicky, like shooting and tagging, and the AI can waffle between being superhuman and dim. More importantly, the load times immediately sap any fun that could be had from the title. A few of these things can be fixed with a patch, but until they're addressed, it's best to approach GW3 on consoles with caution.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is the most title in this generations that lack creativity , there is no identity and it packs real issues at every inch of it, the game has neglected a lot of elements essential for an open and uninviting world, and it was only useful for an aesthetic view, the studio had to focus on presenting a good story and distinctive gameplay elements rather than wasting time in an open world.

I do feel that the series is going in the right direction and if there is ever a Sniper Ghost Warrior 4 it could be a worthy opponent for its long-time rival Sniper Elite.

Sniper Ghost Warrior: 3 is an ambitious game, with a few flaws that still makes for a fun experience.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior was not praised, but to appreciate the game you need to understand where it came from. It came in straight line from on-rails shooters and came a long way in terms of technology and quality. It's a great open-world game, the only one that allows us to experience both stunning visuals and sniping mechanics at the same time. You may wait a bit for a game to load, but it will not disappoint afterwards.

I really wanted to like Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 considering how CI Games made the bold choice to change the series formula up completely in an attempt move the franchise forward and away from its awful predecessor. Early on, the story hinted at a tale much deeper than any Sniper Ghost Warrior game deserves, but it ultimately loses focus about halfway through and ends up nosediving in the final act. While the sniping mechanics are solid and the mission variety is admirable, the technical issues are a distraction, to the point where you may not even be able to finish a mission. With games like Sniper Elite 4 out there, as well as the much better Far Cry games that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 models itself after, it’s hard to recommend a game where the only memorable thing about it are its horrific load times.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 succeeds as a sniping game but fails at most everything else it set out to be.

But the worst thing of all is that I wanted to like Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. I can’t even bring myself to say it’s a bad game, as such, because underneath the problems there’s something genuinely fun and enjoyable just waiting to burst free, or in this case shuffle out in slightly embarrassed fashion once City Interactive has put out a few patches.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is misguided by the unending trend of games going open-world. The idea may have been born with good intentions, but blatantly copying all of another series' structure is a bad look, undone much further by the fact that it does all of those same things very poorly. It's unclear for whom this game was made as it feels more like a middling title we rarely see anymore, possessing neither the polish of AAA nor the admirable quirks of an indie.

A slick sniping title in name, but one that also encourages creativity, delivers action, and demands adaptation, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is one hell of a ride. Although it has a lackluster story and a handful of minor issues, it's still an immensely enjoyable separatist kill fest set in the gorgeous open-world landscapes of former Soviet Georgia.

Doesn't hit all the marks. Redeemed by varied missions and a wide world to explore.

Overall, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 isn’t a bad game at all. There’s definitely rewarding moments that come out of your own skills improving but it’s by no means a unique game in its class, often giving me flashback feelings of Sniper Elite or Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

By the end of my time with Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, I was left very much disappointed. Not because of the poor story and acting, but because of the technical issues that kept the game from being anything more than mediocre. It's a shame too; it's a good – if not amazing – looking game, with some really fun mechanics.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 tries to accommodate its namesake by offering sniping, sneaking and action into one open world package, but only sniping succeeds at being any fun.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has undergone an evolution over its predecessors. Ballistics has been an unmistakable topic in this review, just because it gives you so much satisfaction, especially if faced with the toughest difficulty, will remain a feature of Sniper Ghost Warrior.

It’s hard to really place Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 in the category of a “bad” game because it wasn’t. It just wasn’t a completed product and that’s a travesty considering how much potential the game truly had.
