Arizona Sunshine Remake Reviews
If you never played the original, this is the perfect time to give it a go, as Arizona Sunshine Remake is filled with great gunplay and some beautiful environments.
It seems odd giving a remake of game a higher score than it's sequel but the Arizona Sunshine Remake takes all of the good elements from it's sequel and thankfully, very few of of the bad elements. Great fun in co-op mode, but playing alone makes it more tense, scary and certainly more of a challenging.
The restoration work of the first chapter convinces thanks to some tweaks that involve many aspects of the original game. Nowadays you can find VR titles that are technically more refined or evolved, the base is still from 2016, however Arizona Sunshine Remake with its DLC included in the price is a great gift for those who are approaching the fun franchise of Vertigo Games today.

Arizona Sunshine Remake is a very welcome remaster in a world stuffed with game remasters. VR technology has improved tremendously in the years since the original game launched. This is especially true on the PlayStation side, where the inside out tracking of the PSVR 2 has replaced the light-based tracking of the PSVR 1.
For those keen to revisit this PSVR classic, the remake is still a fun zombie shooter, with solid gunplay, brilliant graphics, and a decent wee package of content. It's also launching at a reduced £25/$30, making it fairly inexpensive. However, if you're new to the series and want to dive straight into the series at its best, we'd recommend its superior sequel over this.
Arizona Sunshine Remake elevates the original, award-winning game, completely rebuilt with GORE-geous VR graphics and next-gen VR combat
Arizona Sunshine Remake should be in the library of every action game fan and VR headset owner. It's not a perfect game, and there aren't many improvements over the original, but it's honest and bloody action that could have been a lot better.

The Arizona Sunshine Remake is a lovingly remastered, including all DLC, that has been visually and gameplay revised to bring out the strengths of the original. The sharp, detailed graphics of the new edition make this zombie shooter really shine on the PSVR2 and significantly increase the fun factor. Thanks to the visual and technical improvements, the remake almost feels like a new game, inviting you to explore the post-apocalyptic world all over again.

Vertigo Games has now taken everything they have learned with the first game and the sequel and have remade the original game, and it pleases me to say that they did a wonderful job.
If you enjoyed Arizona Sunshine in 2016 and want to replay it in a revamped version, its Remake will certainly not disappoint. It effectively brings back the original adventure of the Vertigo Games brand. Casual and light-hearted, the shooter won't surprise you with innovative gameplay solutions, but it does offer a few hours of solid fun, both solo and with friends. Plus, it includes all the DLC released to date, which is always a bonus.

Arizona Sunshine Remake successfully modernizes a VR classic while maintaining everything that made the original special. The improved visuals, refined mechanics, and included DLC make this the definitive version of an already excellent game. Whether you're a newcomer to VR or a veteran who played the original, this remake offers enough improvements and content to justify another trip through zombie-infested Arizona.
Arizona Sunshine Remake delivers and little more. It takes the best of the sequel, the gunplay and graphics, and applies it directly to create the remake. The level design, which is what most needed to be improved, remains intact. Something to note is that it is a complete edition with the base game and all the DLCs. It's good, but it falls short by today's VR standards.

Arizona Sunshine Remake isn’t as good as its sequel, but the improved visuals and refined mechanics ensure that it’s still a blast to play. The core experience still holds up really well, and whilst it can show its age in some elements of its design, blasting away at zombies in dangerous and varied scenarios is ALWAYS satisfying. Add to that the horrifying visual upgrade that’s gorier than ever, the refined reloading mechanics that makes for a more immersive and tense experience, and the fact that you get all of the DLC included in the package, and it’ll be clear that this is a worthwhile remake of one of virtual reality’s original greats.
Arizona Sunshine Remake is a fantastic VR shooter with some brilliant combat mechanics and an immersive atmosphere. It’s a little short, but that’s par for the course for VR games.
