Coridden is the perfect example of how an original idea can shine even when the execution isn't perfect. Its unique transformation and cooperation mechanics, along with its interesting mix of setting, make it a unique experience that deserves the attention of co-op action RPG lovers.

Coridden is quite simply one of the coolest concepts I've played in absolutely ages, and as a big fan of co-op games, is immensely refreshing. I adore this game, and I really hope we get more from this from the team at Aftnareld to shows off more of what they can do, because their first attempt is a triumph of ingenuity.

Coridden, while lacking polish, also shines like a diamond with its wealth of ideas, theming, and creative setting. Almost better as a proof-of-concept, my intention isn’t to steer the developers away from success, but to highlight that the hard part’s been done: good game design. All that’s needed is some QA. For you, reader, you may enjoy seeing what’s being chewed on here, but don’t go in expecting a crisp experience.

Coridden is a fun game with an interesting premise, but playing solo just makes you feel like you're missing the full experience.

It takes a monster to destroy a monster, and you'll love the ability to transform in this action RPG. Graphically, the game is worse, but the gameplay is excellent.

Coridden is without a doubt a complete hidden gem. It has a unique feel overall that I can’t say I’ve felt with others in the genre. I really feel that character build choices will only affect how I approach different situations rather than holding me back. For it’s highly accessible build customization, emphasis on player cooperation and synergy, and downright innovative gameplay mechanics this is a game not to sleep on. Be sure to check it out, with a humble price point I may add, over on Steam or GOG today. It would be a crime not to, and so I award Coridden the Thumb Culture Platinum Award.

Despite some tech issues and not having the most memorable plot, Coridden’s gameplay is so much fun that I didn’t care. While flying solo in the game can be a bit tough at times, its still a blast and even better when you team up with a few friends. I hope to see more from Aftnareld in the future as they crafted a fun and unique adventure here.

Coridden introduces deep customization and fast and exciting combat through it's shapeshifting mechanics. Despite lack of polish in some areas, it also offers a fun experience for players looking to try a new ARPG.

The ability to transform into unique, fully fleshed-out monsters with their own skill trees and abilities makes the gameplay of Coridden feel fresh and exciting. With up to four-player co-op, this ARPG is worth giving a try, either alone or with friends.

Coridden succeeds in combining familiar elements of action RPGs with refreshing new ideas. The shapeshifting mechanic, the co-op mode and the free progression system make it a unique experience that stands out from other titles in the genre. It is a pity that the quests are so incredibly repetitive, which is a nice blemish on the otherwise excellent gameplay. If the developer releases a patch that further optimizes things and makes the map a lot clearer, then this is a title that is definitely worth playing for fans of action RPGs. Because whether you play solo or together with friends, Coridden takes you on a beautiful adventure where you have a lot of freedom to play the way you want.
