At the end of the day, THPS 3 + 4 is a fun, big, colorful, and excellent follow-up. It doesn’t try to be perfect - just honest and worthy of the originals. It may not have all the legendary moments of THPS 1+2, but it delivers so much quality content that it’s hard to imagine anyone getting bored anytime soon.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 brings skating back to the forefront in a genre that receives far less attention than it deserves. The amount of content, gameplay additions, and graphical updates makes for a truly impressive combo. Iron Galaxy has set the stage for a revival of a beloved game series. I’m ready for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 now.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a triumphant return of two fun titles from the 128-bit generation. Keeping the gameplay simple and fun while introducing some very good new features, the new title maintains the liberating and creative essence of its originals while introducing a new generation to a series of fun games about a culture that remains relevant even in today's modern world.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is a truly great game. It looks phenomenal and offers a ton of content, both old and new. And the gameplay itself, designed years ago by the Neversoft team, has not aged a bit and still provides a lot of unbridled fun. This is a title worth paying attention to. Even older players, blinded by nostalgia and grumbling about everything under their breath, will play and won't stop. It's definitely a game worth playing, even if the developers have allowed themselves some deviations.

Fans have been asking for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 for a number of years now and they should be mostly satisfied with the end product. The same addictive and refined gameplay is back from 1 + 2, but this time based on two entirely different games. There’s a lot of new content with the Pro Goals and few new stages, but the downside is that there were also some cuts when it came to content from the fourth entry, including entire levels and weird removals within existing levels like the lack of animals in Zoo. The soundtrack may also be a bit controversial due to the cut songs, but the development team did a great job putting together a replacement soundtrack mixing old and new. Even with some of the changes, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 offers top notch addictive gameplay that is highly entertaining and can be enjoyed by pretty much anybody.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 offers the definitive way to play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and a great way to experience Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. While I wish some levels were given a bit more polish and redesigns, this is still the best collection of levels ever put in a Tony Hawk game and puts Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 at the top of the list of best skateboarding games in the modern console era.

This Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a declaration of love to enthusiasts. It's a playground for combo addicts, and a great gateway for a new generation of players. The Iron Galaxy studio has even added a few new features without altering the original experience. Nevertheless, the changes to the soundtrack and the altered structure of the 4th opus could disappoint a portion of the community. Fortunately, the overall picture is made up for by the excellent visual realization and consistently excellent gameplay.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a content rich package that delivers hours of addictive gameplay and arcadey old school fun. Its technical polish, responsive controls, and lovingly recreated levels make it an essential experience for both veterans and newcomers. Yet, the mishandling of Pro Skater 4’s campaign and the gutted soundtrack prevent it from achieving true greatness.

If the 4th entry in the series was a massive part of your childhood, and you were excited to see it remastered and playable on modern hardware, you’re probably going to be pissed off. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 does a lot to reenergize these two games from the early 2000s. At the time, the series was something every kid would talk about with their friends. Now, the series is given another moment in the spotlight, offering a new generation access to a series that feels as timeless as ever, thanks to its eclectic gameplay, excellent music, impressive skaters, and memorable levels. The personality, humour, and flow of these games are all still intact, and that makes them unforgettable.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is packed with content and offers dozens of achievements to complete and levels to explore. The feeling of playing these games more than 20 years ago is still very much alive, even though the graphics are sharper and the gameplay works better than you remember. Although Pro Skater 4's departure from its open-world structure may disappoint fans of the original, there's no denying that Iron Galaxy has done everything possible to make the two games cohesive and fun.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is a great remake of two great classics. Iron Galaxy Studios managed once again to keep the core of the original gameplay and flesh out the levels even more. The only negative side of this streamlining process is the rework of the Pro Skater 4 campaign, which lost missions in its change from open world to two-minute runs.
