Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is recommended because it is a worthy celebration of the series, with gameplay as solid as ever, content to spare, and creation tools that give it life beyond nostalgia. It is a skateboarding arcade game that remains unique in its genre. For veterans, it’s a homecoming; for newcomers, it’s a unique addiction.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 successfully brings two more beloved entries in the skateboarding series into the modern era with better controls, visuals and a wealth of content slightly let down by its soundtrack changes.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a content rich package that delivers hours of addictive gameplay and arcadey old school fun. Its technical polish, responsive controls, and lovingly recreated levels make it an essential experience for both veterans and newcomers. Yet, the mishandling of Pro Skater 4’s campaign and the gutted soundtrack prevent it from achieving true greatness.

Your enjoyment of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is going to depend heavily upon how much you love Pro Skater 4. If the 4th entry in the series was a massive part of your childhood, and you were excited to see it remastered and playable on modern hardware, you’re probably going to be pissed off. This isn’t Pro Skater 4, it’s more like Pro Skater 3 with a Pro Skater 4 inspired level-pack attached to it.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 does a lot to reenergize these two games from the early 2000s. At the time, the series was something every kid would talk about with their friends. Now, the series is given another moment in the spotlight, offering a new generation access to a series that feels as timeless as ever, thanks to its eclectic gameplay, excellent music, impressive skaters, and memorable levels. The personality, humour, and flow of these games are all still intact, and that makes them unforgettable.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is packed with content and offers dozens of achievements to complete and levels to explore. The feeling of playing these games more than 20 years ago is still very much alive, even though the graphics are sharper and the gameplay works better than you remember. Although Pro Skater 4's departure from its open-world structure may disappoint fans of the original, there's no denying that Iron Galaxy has done everything possible to make the two games cohesive and fun.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is a great remake of two great classics. Iron Galaxy Studios managed once again to keep the core of the original gameplay and flesh out the levels even more. The only negative side of this streamlining process is the rework of the Pro Skater 4 campaign, which lost missions in its change from open world to two-minute runs.

Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades” kick-starts the game with the line “You win some, lose some […].” That’s exactly how I feel about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. Despite the outstanding gameplay, level design, and stable performance, this is not a faithful recreation of the originals.

I enjoyed most of my time with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4. It's a reminder of my younger years, and even though I can't see the scrapes and bruises anymore, I'm still fond of every bail off a skateboard I've had in my years. It's still just as fun to get back on the virtual board and see a world filled with familiar faces and the sounds of those tensor trucks hitting the pavement.

The Tony Hawk Pro Skater games are a pinnacle of my childhood and for gamers like me, we've been eating well, and this new installment is no different. Now, there are small things I would change as mentioned in the video and some things I wish were there but by no means do the "bad" outweigh the good. This is an objectively good game and a great step in a direction that I think will lead to more remakes (just give me THUG 1 + 2, please!!!) and possibly even completely new entries in the THPS franchise (that don't suck; we don't talk about THPS5). A fantastic game for seasoned gamers and beginners alike.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is an exceptional remastered package that expertly blends classic gameplay with modern polish. Whether you’re a seasoned fan or a newcomer, its smooth controls, expansive options, and rewarding progression system make it a must-play. Despite a few soundtrack gaps and minor UX quirks, the dual-game experience, high replay value, and customisation features more than justify dropping in. Even if skateboarding isn’t your thing, the sheer fun factor makes this title worth grinding for.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is a heartfelt tribute to the series, a remake that captures the essence of two timeless classics. Iron Galaxy modernizes gameplay and levels with style, delivering depth, adrenaline, and rich content. While technical hiccups and a divisive take on THPS 4's career mode hold it back slightly, this is still a vibrant slice of gaming history, reborn.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is the perfect summer game, whether you want the full blown 4K TV experience or something to take with you to the parks and jam with. This game is a delight that continues to thrill with a kick-ass soundtrack, fun-filled objectives, fantastic environmental variety and a deep roster with compelling cross-platform multiplayer. Removal of some beloved songs and THPS 4 Career Mode may upset some folks, but what’s been added here is an awesome package that will suit series newcomers as much as vets who have been craving a bit of something old with something new

Despite the changes to the campaign in part four and the soundtrack, this is a worthy remake that relies heavily on the gameplay. Most of the levels feel fantastic to skate through for a few minutes, but also for hours. It's not a perfect remake, unfortunately, but what's here is heavenly. Let's hope that 'Tony Hawk's Underground' does get a fully intact remake. If it ever comes.

While Pro Skater 4’s shift away from its open-world structure may disappoint fans of the original, and the soundtrack misses some iconic tracks, there’s no denying Iron Galaxy put in the work to make both games feel cohesive. In the end, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 offers two more chances for players to relive their skating heyday while offering a new generation a piece of history through a modern lens.

In the end, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 hits that rare nostalgic sweet spot. It doesn’t just repackage a classic in a way that feels cheap like other games – it refines it in ways that matter. The gameplay is tight, the visuals are slick and polished in the best way, the soundtrack is phenomenal, and the level design holds up impressively well. Sure, the omission of Pro Skater 4’s story elements is a head-scratcher, but it doesn’t take away from what’s here. This is a return to form that feels both like a love letter to the past and a reminder that the Tony Hawk series still has plenty of life left. It’s fun, it’s fast, and it proves that some legends never really fall out of style.
