The parkour is some of the smoothest and most reactive ever executed in any first-person game, and Castor Woods is one of the more fun settings in the Dying Light games yet.

Dying Light: The Beast is an exhilarating, grotesque, and technically impressive game that proves Techland still understands what makes this series special. The parkour is smoother than ever, the melee is unmatched, and the attention to detail in the world is astonishing. It stumbles with stealth, the story remains functional rather than unforgettable, and some design choices feel limited, but these flaws don’t outweigh how consistently enjoyable it is to play.

Dying Light: The Beast is an enjoyable game for fans of combat and parkour, featuring an open world full of details and intense, gory moments, especially when using the Beast power. However, technical issues, inconsistent AI, repetitive missions, and an unstable save system reduce the fun of exploration and can make the experience frustrating at times. Despite this, fans of the series and violent gameplay will still find plenty of exciting moments.

Dying Light: The Beast is a big improvement over Dying Light 2 and avoids feeling like an expanded piece of DLC. At its core, it has the same familiar gameplay that the franchise knows and loves, but there's a degree of polish and flavor that its predecessor was missing. Only a somewhat lackluster plot and disappointing Beast Mode drag down the game, but they won't get in the way of a fun European zombie vacation.

The Dying Light series has never positioned itself as a top-tier, award-winning franchise, but it consistently delivers what matters most: entertainment. The Beast builds on that legacy with a relentless mix of high-octane action, visceral violence, and a menagerie of zombies and monsters. Its immersive universe and finely tuned gameplay mechanics ensure that fans of the genre will find plenty to sink their teeth into.

Dying Light: The Beast is a triumphant return to Techland's winning formula. An excellent zombie survival game packed with fast-paced action and visceral moments of combat and survival. The return of Kyle Crane is a tremendous success and a love letter to fans of the original game. However, its lack of innovation prevents it from reaching the heights of a true revolution for the series.

Dying Light: The Beast is a smaller but enjoyable addition to the series, with the return of Kyle Crane and the new mountain setting of Castor Woods. There's nothing groundbreaking here, but it's a very good amalgamation of everything we've seen in previous Dying Light games.

Dying Light: The Beast is a fun and enjoyable game that can keep you busy for hours. However, a number of problems, such as a regression in crafting, skill trees, and blueprint system compared to the first game, and an excessive similarity to the second version, have prevented this game from reaching its full potential.

Beast mode is the highlight, letting you wreak havoc on zombies with an adrenaline rush to match-but the game falls short in character development and technical polish, regardless this game will be the game Dying Light fans will jump into with high expectations if they can look past the technical problems the game has

Dying Light: The Beast is another terrifying foray that provides a unique spin on the survival horror genre. However, its horde of bugged missions and objectives damage its otherwise immersive terror.

As Kyle Crane’s story continues, action-packed hours of zombie-bashing await you. What we have here is a tight, well-crafted game.

Techland made the right choice turning Dying Light: The Beast into a standalone entry in the series as it might just be the best yet. Taking control of Kyle Crane again is fantastic, especially now that he can tap into the power of his inner beast. But despite this, it remains mostly a tense experience, with a fantastic open world that begs to be explored.

Dying Light: The Beast is a solid return of the original hero in a new area of operation, with a new ability and old habits. It's still a game about running, collecting, and chopping up zombies, which makes you feel like this formula is slowly wearing thin. It's time to give the series a rest or rebuild it, but other than that, the rest of it is a good, engaging experience. I recommend it.

The Beast brings effective tweaks that bring Dying Light back to the level that has earned it so many fans over the years. While the mission and activity structure doesn't offer any major innovations, the game is a strong indication that good things are in store for the future of the series.

Dying Light: The Beast is faster, more agile, deeper, and without a doubt the best episode in the series.

A spin-off that maintains the same quality as the two previous chapters, while refining itself to deliver a more visceral and brutal experience.

Dying Light: The Beast is a fun foray back into a world of survival horror. It is a little disappointing that there is only one way to gain XP in the game, and though going out at night is very risky, it is high risk/high reward. If you enjoyed the previous titles in the series, Dying Light: The Beast is a fun time, especially with friends.

The Beast is the kind of game that shows how Techland has learned from the past. It's denser, more cohesive, and more emotional. It recaptures the DNA of the first title, but matures its ideas with a dose of brutality that few studios manage to balance so naturally.
