EA Sports FC 26 Reviews
EA Sports FC 26 delivers on a lot of promises made by EA Sports. Gameplay in particular has seen some much needed improvements and feels a lot better than its predecessors, but there is still a lot of work to be done. The various modes get a lot of new features, but it remains disappointing that pay-to-win is still a big part of the beloved Ultimate Team mode.

Newest release in the iconic franchise, EA Sports FC 26 has arrived with few improvements and no innovations. While it remains essentially fun, with many game modes and good gameplay, the game suffers from its dated production and lack of significant changes. Competitive online modes, in particular, remain greedy, albeit with some improvements. In the end, this is a good choice for soccer fans who are familiar with the series or who have been away for a long time and want to get back on the field.

FC26 will, once again, offers an authentic experience thanks to incredible production, fantastic immersion in the atmosphere of a match and well-oiled mechanics that allow for exhilarating sensations. However, we remain a little more skeptical about the choice to make the game even more arcade in certain online game modes, favoring attack and the pleasure of chaining chances and goals. In any case, given the gargantuan content, you will inevitably find something to suit you between the offline modes, the online sessions or the in-between with events, team clashes and other features that are offered in competitive mode (against players from around the world) or simply against the AI with adjustable difficulty. Be careful not to get too involved in FUT packs and micro-transactions, which can be addictive as the quest for the ideal XI is captivating, especially since EA Sports has designed many circuits to reward your time and investment.

I still don’t think this is a game changer in the franchise, or in football gaming as a whole, but after years of diminishing returns, seeing the slightest of improvements instead of just more of the same is already enough to make me recommend EA Sports FC 26 over a good chunk of its predecessors.
With two different styles of gameplay, FC 26 is equipped to satisfy players with different desires, making it one of the most important efforts in the series in recent years, even if a strong sense of continuity remains.

With every annual football release from EA, the same question arises: “Is the game this time just an update of rosters and kits, or does it offer an experience worth the player’s time and money?” In the case of EA Sports FC 26, it can be said that the answer is more balanced. The game hasn’t overturned the foundations of the series nor radically changed the core experience, but it has focused on fixing what annoyed players last year and refining what was already good. So, is FC 26 worth trying? Yes, it definitely is. It may not be a complete revolution that redefines football games, but it’s a confident step forward that makes it better than FC 25 in most important aspects. If you’re a fan of the series, you’ll find yourself with a more polished and mature version, and if you’re thinking of returning after a break, this is a good opportunity to experience one of the most balanced releases in recent years.

With its rich rivalry matches, extensive club features, and polished gameplay, EA FC 26 has surpassed its predecessor. Already visually impressive, the game is even more appealing, especially for Turkey, with the addition of a Turkish commentary.

EA Sports FC 26 feels like it has made some exceptional strides forward this year. Having played for approximately 25-30 hours since Early Access was released and having invested a similar amount of time in the Closed Beta build, I can confidently say it’s the best version of the game we have had in several years. The key feature is the introduction of two gameplay modes: Authentic and Competitive. It’s nice to see that a lot more attention has gone into Career Mode as well as Ultimate Team. EA have for sure put the work in this time around to try and please every player type that dives into the yearly release. The game is almost polished to perfection this time around, and whilst I have struggled finding my feet in Ultimate Team so far, I am having a bloody great time. If you haven’t dipped into the series for some time, then this year is an ideal opportunity to return. If you’re a regular, then you’ll be right at home with a sprinkle of exciting new features.
FC 26 feels like a true step forward for the series, finally striking the right balance between competitive sharpness and authentic realism. From the overhauled gameplay fundamentals to the smarter Career Mode features, refined Archetypes, and a deeper FUT experience, EA has clearly been listening to the community. The presentation is slick, the sound is immersive, and the controls are fine-tuned for both newcomers and veterans.
EA Sports FC 26 is one of the biggest steps forward in terms of gameplay, with the Authentic Play mode offering more realism than ever before. In terms of content, the game doesn't offer any unprecedented new features; in fact, it's mainly limited to slightly expanding on existing content. With some fine-tuning, it would be great if the minor bugs that are clearly present here and there could be resolved quickly. EA has therefore primarily focused on improving the overall gameplay with the two modes now present in the game. In my opinion, that's a good move, and it leaves you wanting more.

There is plenty to enjoy in EA Sports FC 26 for soccer fans of all backgrounds, creating a truly excellent experience. Minor changes going forward will only help turn a very good game into something special.
EA Sports FC 26 is the game that fantastic refinement to the norm with excellent visuals and improvements, although online AI defense can be suspect.
While EA Sports FC 26 still has the same familiar issues like microtransactions and AI oddities, it's still entertaining for the typical kickoff banter with your friends and is worth playing for Ultimate Team enthusiasts.
EA Sports FC 26 has managed to become the football game that most closely resembles what we see on television. However, no solution has yet been found for the bugs that have been present for years.

EA Sports FC 26 is definitely fun to play, and the inclusion of new mechanics has made the virtual footballing experience much better and less of a headache. However, the changes mentioned above are just about the only things you could argue hold any ounce of significance.
EA Sports FC 26 feels like the step forward last year’s game should have been. Authentic mode makes matches play out more like real football, and Career Mode finally has features that keep you hooked. Ultimate Team and Clubs got smaller tweaks that help, even if FUT’s monetization still drags. It’s not a huge leap, but it plays better, looks sharper, and is a clear upgrade over FC 25.

The changes to the physics and AI are smart and felt, and the amount of content and polish really has no rivals, making FC 26 the best the franchise has been in years.
