Achilles: Survivor Reviews
Although there’s no doubt that Achilles: Survivor is built on the foundation of Achilles: Legends Untold, it has its own and very definite identity.
Achilles: Survivor is a welcome addition to the Roguelike Bullet Hell genre and provides a unique and exciting experience for players.
Fun survivors-style game from the studio that gave us Achilles: Legends Untold
A standout entry in the Survivors-like genre, Achilles: Survivor looks great, plays well and mixes things up by adding in tower defence elements. There's a huge amount of content on offer here, including plenty of characters to unlock and levels to play through, and given the game's budget asking price, consider it an absolute must-have.
Auto battler games are starting to become a trend, and Achilles: Survivor is one of the best. It impresses with its well-used Greek mythology, addictive gameplay, and decent variability of options and characters.

Achilles Survivor is an exceptionally polished and moreish title that nestles in with the likes of Vampire Survivors and other popular roguelikes in the genre. This one has some unique aspects, including building structures that assist you in the heat of battle. It blends tower defence strategy with fighting hordes, which I haven’t yet seen with any other similar experiences. For the same price as the average pint of beer here in the UK, it is well worth a punt for several hours of fun.
Achilles Survivor is a fantastic addition to the horde survivor genre with its focus on risk vs reward, brains and brawn and stunning visuals. The loop is solid, the variety is great and it all contributes to a title you can spend many hours on. The run length does drag on a bit at times and there is a sense of repetition in the battles that can be tedious at times, but for the price, value and quality on offer, you’d be hard-pressed to pass on this one.
Achilles: Survivor isn't necessarily a bad game, but it's important to highlight that it falls into the category of titles that, in every aspect, fail to do enough to stand out and distinguish themselves from the existing competition.
