Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone Reviews
Console port of an arcade title that might lack in modes, but more than makes up for it with its stellar, giant song list.
Western Vocaloid fans—and the Project DIVA franchise itself—have now received the very best that Sega’s music gaming efforts have produced up until this point. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is a stellar rhythm game, offering fantastic gameplay supported by a massive list of music.
Think of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone as a massive ‘best of’ compilation of her greatest hits that you can play and you can’t go wrong. It’s the kind of game that you’re likely to revisit for years to come.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone is the closest we've gotten to a true arcade-style rhythm game in a while, and it's simply great.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone has a specific target audience and I’m just not in it. Recognizing that, this game has merit. For fans of JPop and the Vocaloids, Project DIVA Future Tone is definitely worth buying!
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone I have to say is absolutely worth the price of admission. The 200+ song list is just a crazy amount of content and there are tons of customization options to unlock along the way. Yes there aren’t any goals set out in the game leaving it up to the player to set them themselves. For any hardcore Miku fan I think this game is a must have and if you have been interested in the series but never jumped in yet this is probably the best entry point.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is a massive release with over 200 songs total if you purchase both song packs. You’ll be spending over a dozen hours with the game just by playing each song a single time and we all know that when we enjoy rhythm games we end up replaying songs over and over. Not to mention that once your skills improve you’ll want to go up in the difficulty setting, which will, in turn, make each song feel fresh thanks to the extra icons and changes in the rhythm at which said icons enter the screen. If you’re a fan of Hatsune Miku, you have to buy this game. And if you’re not a fan – yet – this is the perfect starting point.
Factoring both packs into the overall package that makes up Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, there is very little to fault in this true arcade rhythm experience. Clocking in at 224 songs strong, the sheer number of tracks is incredible, and the fact so many of them are fantastically addictive is icing on the cake.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is the holy grail of an already illustrious franchise. For existing fans of the virtual idol, this isn’t just some greatest hits album. Plenty of formerly arcade-exclusive tracks are available on console for the first time. Newcomers, meanwhile, are positively spoiled for choice and couldn't ask for a better time to start the franchise.
Future Tone is an outstanding rhythm game and Future Tone is the pinnacle of Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid games so far.
Future Tone is a rare case where the sheer quantity of content is matched by the highest quality. Packing catchy beats, addictive gameplay, and some serious challenge, this is one title that is worth coming back to for years to come.
A good rhythm game. Nothing more, nothing less. Straight into action you can play whatever Miku song you want from the start. Ideal for any Miku fan out there.

It shows why people fell in love with it in the first place, and it’s a great way to fall in love with Miku and the gang all over again…or for the first time.
Project DIVA Future Tone is like the series' "Greatest Hits" version. It's charming graphics, fast-paced gameplay, and +200 list of playable songs is sure to please any rhythm game fan.
A massive improvement over the previous entry, a songlist spanning the entire series which has something for everyone. Great visuals and welcome updates to the classic gameplay offers considerable replay value, but doesn't shine enough to be the definitive game in the series.
Hatsune Miku is so much fun to get to grips with and will consume you if you allow it
Future Tone can only be described as one of the best packages from the Project Diva Franchise, with content that ranges from new songs to fan favorites, its a great entry point if you are interested in Rhythm games.

You’ll be promised hours of new content as you work towards those victory points, earning ranks and outfits to change up gameplay and unlock new and more complicated songs to beat to the beat!
There isn't much to not like about this game. Truthfully, this the ultimate Hatsune Miku game to own - especially if you're new to Vocaloids. With this game you'll see a ton of classics such as Love is War, The World is Mine, Ievan Polkka. If you're a long time fan of the series, sure, you've more than likely seen and played all of these songs before, but having them all in one spot with fresh coat of paint is a real treat.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is exactly what I have always wanted from a Hatsune Miku game. A simple jump-in and jump-out at your own leisure rhythm game that is insanely addicting to play and fun at the same time. Without having to go through a story mode to unlock various songs and outfits, everything is literally right there for you to enjoy whenever you start the game up and feel like joining Hatsune Miku and her friends with some catchy tunes. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone offers up more gameplay and things to do than any previous entry in the franchise before it, thus clearly making it one of the best, if not the best, Hatsune Miku title on the market.
