BioShock: The Collection stands as yet another fantastic port in the Switch's ever-growing library, combining three excellent games and all their DLC into one convincing package. Stable performance, engrossing narratives, fun gameplay, and lots of content make this one an easy recommendation, even if these releases show their age from time to time. If you're looking for a good single-player shooter to pick up for your Switch, look no further than BioShock: The Collection. We'd give this one a high recommendation, it's tough to go wrong here.
Bioshock The Collection on Switch is everything the home console versions brought us four years ago, but with a oh-so practical portable dimension, but also poorer graphics, thanks to a strong aliasing, and a frame-rate which cannot exceed 30 fps. But with three classical FPS games which already made history, the added DLC and many bonus gives us a good reason to dive again, on the go.

Virtuous has done a fine job in bringing Bioshock to the Switch, delivering a trio of intriguing games from the last generation. Performance is solid and stable, they look fantastic and they're still worth playing today.
After all these years, BioShock: The Collection has easily stood the test of time, and bringing it to the Switch seven years after the launch of BioShock Infinite gives new gamers a chance to experience an iconic and groundbreaking series that will remind people to be polite and always preface a request with the simple phrase “Would you kindly?”
With this collection you have portable versions of three classic video games. Not only that, they run, look and perform almost flawlessly. I do not know what sorcery was used to get these games to run this well on the Nintendo Switch but its a joy to behold. Right, i'm off to play Bioshock in bed.
All in all, BioShock: The Collection is an incredible package deal. It encompasses three high-quality games that, despite each having a handful of issues, are all incredible examples of what the FPS genre can accomplish. Incredible, engaging stories, chock full of jaw-dropping reveals, imaginative worlds and scenery, and larger-than-life, while still all too real, characters.
A man chooses...a slave obeys. Do it voluntarily or forced by the pressure of having missed some of the best games of the last 15 years, you are facing a new opportunity to know what makes this saga so special and beloved.

It can’t be denied that Virtuos has done a great job porting Bioshock: The Collection to Switch on the whole. All three games are complete, look great and perform well. It’s just Bioshock: Infinite‘s problems, both old and new, that let it down. Still, if you’ve never played these games before and have a Switch, you’re bound to have a great time with them. These titles have mostly stood the test of time, and still present some of the best video game storytelling to date.
A convenient opportunity to replay the whole saga where you want. Or, just in case, to find out what this BioShock is that everyone has been talking about for thirteen years, of course. Too bad for the not exciting graphic quality of the two remastered, especially the first one. In handheld mode, at least, you don't notice that much.

BioShock: The Collection pushes the Nintendo Switch to its limits and offers the best looking games on the system to date without taking away its hallmark FPS experience for players.
The Switch port is as deserving of praise as the original release of BioShock: The Collection. You’ll have to put up with some of the remasters’ less desirable changes, and the audio could be better, but BioShock: The Collection for the Nintendo Switch remains a trio of fantastic ports. Would you kindly give them a gander?
Three great adventures masterfully ported to Nintendo Switch. They only missing feature is they're not running at 60 fps, but the rest is on spot, showing an adaptation on par with the PS4 and Xbox One remasters. Also, keep in mind that if you buy it, physical or digital, you will need a big microSD, because the download is quite big...

The Switch port of Bioshock might have been a disappointment, but I’m glad they didn’t botch the port of Bioshock Infinite. This game still looks as gorgeous as it used to when it first came out seven years ago, and it’s still one hell of an emotional and entertaining ride from beginning to end.
You can still have a ton of fun with the Switch port of Bioshock, as this is the best portable version of this classic masterpiece. Although, when compared to all of the other previously released versions of the game, this is only technically superior to the clunky iOS port from 2014.
While it's certainly a disappointment Bioshock Infinite got ignored in the remastering department, 2K and Blind Squirrel Games more than make up for it with a collection that includes every single second of single-player content in Bioshock history. 1 and 2 have been excellently remastered, and the inclusion of director commentaries in the first Bioshock shed some welcome insight on an already fascinating franchise. The series didn't need any updating, but it is unquestionably a nice thing that Bioshock: The Collection improves on some already great first-person shooters.

BioShock: The Collection is a pretty good compilation of some of the best first-person action—and sometimes horror—gaming around. It is unfortunate that it is not the greatest it could be, and that only the first game was given the best treatment, but these games have never looked or ran better on consoles before. Anyone who never played these titles should definitely give this a shot.
Despite there being no real improvements or enhancements to any of these games, it is hard to deny the quality of these three games. The BioShock franchise consists of three of the best games we have seen in the past decade and these are the best versions you can get of them. There isn't much in new content but the base content of this collection alone is an incredible value.
