The graphics are cute and everything is easy to see and follow without being outstanding. The game is easy to learn but the challenge should not be underestimated as the game progresses. The music is really repetitive and sounds like a tinny version of the James Bond theme stuck on a loop. The game can become repetitive after a while but it’s a perfect title for the Nintendo Switch and for a decent price on the Nintendo eShop it will appeal to those looking for a speed running challenge or something to fill a few hours. 10 Second Ninja X is definitely one of those games where you will lose track of time as you keep saying ‘just one more go.’

10 Second Ninja X is a great pick up and play game. It would also be a fun game to aim to master, similar to Super Meat Boy. With it launching on Switch, when is a better time to check this out than out, on the go, while you’re waiting for your coffee, or stuck on a bus? The pacing of the game works well for quick play sessions.

This minimalist, and quite challenging, platformer will absolutely make you a bit crazy if your goal isn't just to complete tough levels but also do so in an insanely limited amount of time...

10 Second Ninja X is an improved version over the original game in every way. You won’t really miss much skipping the first game, $10.99 for a game of this quality and amount of content is easily a fair price to pay. It definitely will only appeal to a certain audience so I would advise people try out the demo before you make the plunge in purchasing the full game.

10 Second Ninja X is a short platformer that is fast paced from the moment it begins, and it never really stops. With the interesting game mechanic of clearing a stage in ten seconds, the difficulty is increased by achieving the required stars to open up more stages. While it is a clean platformer in terms of fine-tuning the mechanics, it is a frustrating one that seeks to appeal to the platforming purists hungry for a hardcore time sink. The hours will fly by as the ninja dashes across countless stages; however, because of the difficulty, it's a tough sell for casual gamers or those not well versed with chaotic platformers.

I greatly enjoyed my time with the game. As I wrote this 10 Second Ninja X review, I kept replaying each level over and over again until I managed to get a three-star rating on each level. Due to its arcade nature and how levels are 10 seconds long, this game will keep you coming back for more, as you play each level “just one more time” as you search for the perfect route.

The game is fast and furious and full of traps, so a lot of practice and trial and error is required. It looks great and features very fun music. The game is brutal, but in a good way, and it will keep you busy for hours as you try to complete every level and aim at getting all trophies. I had a blast playing this one for my 10 Second Ninja X review, and I’ll keep on practicing to get even better!

The game is challenging and that’s how it should be, because without the extreme challenge the game would be about as exciting as Vaseline on toast. I can definitely recommend this game for lovers of platform games such as Super Meat Boy and Rogue Legacy and is certainly a welcome addition to the genre.

There’s a lot to like with 10 Second Ninja X, that’s for sure. The experience doesn’t last a very long time (whether by skill or by design), but if you want to 100% the game, it’ll last you enough to realize it was well worth your money.

10 Second Ninja is certainly well designed from a gameplay standpoint, but misses out on being great through the shear difficulty of it. But if you enjoy a real tough challenge, and if your reflexes are sharper than mine, then it might be worth a shot.

10 Second Ninja X is an addictive high speed platform game sporting some puzzle game elements which enrich the experience considerably. With its fast paced experience, smooth controls, good amount of content and replay value, 10 Second Ninja X is a game that no fan of platform games should pass on. The easy to learn, harder to master type of experience also makes it perfect for those who never considered playing a similar game. Highly recommended to all those looking for a fun and not excessively involving experience.

If you’re a fan of the kind of ultra-difficult, ultra precise platformers that gained popularity a few years ago, then 10 Second Ninja X is right up your alley. It doesn’t reach the same heights of controller breaking frustration, which is probably a good thing, but with minimalist controls, short and to the point levels, and a whimsically silly story, there’s quite a lot to like here.

This is a fast paced action game not to be missed as it was fantastic and is definitely refreshing to play. The game is well suited to be a go between to other games you’re playing as it’s so different. It’s great to see consoles being able to get in on what was a PC exclusive originally and with extra content makes that even better.

Hardcore PC platformer 10 Second Ninja was a delicious, if slight, slice of twitch gaming.

10 Second Ninja X is glorious, fast-paced fun. It’s frenetic action might make it ill-suited to long sessions, but for pick up and play goodness it’s hard to beat. It also really comes into its own when playing with a mate, letting each other take turns in an effort to take down a particularly brutal level. Of which there are a 100 by the way, so there’s plenty here to sink your teeth into despite theoretically being beatable in under 17 minutes

A furiously engaging speedrunning platformer, 10 Second Ninja X is as much about shaving seconds off your time in each level as it is concerned about shaving slivers off of your sanity, but never before has laying waste to your mental state while running a gauntlet of almost obscenely well-designed platforming levels been so much fun.

10 Second Ninja was already a very fun and enjoyable game in its initial release on PC, but now coming out as the more content heavy 10 Second Ninja X, console owners get to join in on the action with the best version of the game so far

10 Second Ninja X tells you just about everything you need to know about the game in its title. The story is about as quick and nonsensical as one would expect, but the game itself is a flurry of reflex-testing goodness that is addictive as its is frustrating.

10 Second Ninja X is best described as a fantastic podcast game. That is to say, it’s the perfect game to play while you might be doing other things, like watching a show or listening to music.
