In short, Old Man’s Journey is a pleasant meander through an old man’s life and the town he lives in. It’s a masterclass in visual storytelling one which draws out emotion from every player. This touching tale is a path that deserves to be trodden by all gamers.
Old Man's Journey is one of the few games that after you finished it, The sweet taste of it will remain with you for a long time. The creators used creative ideas to implement the puzzles and tell a story. I just wish that the game was a bit longer.

Old Man's Journey is a brilliant game that I definitely recommend you play on Switch. It's a gorgeous release with clever puzzles that are easy to solve and an overall interesting story that will keep you interested until the end. I'm glad that Broken Rules decided to bring this game to Nintendo's console and I look forward to seeing what the studio will bring us next.
If you don't believe that a game with such mesmerizing graphics can't shatter your heart to pieces, you should give Old Man's Journey a chance. With the unique landscape-shaping mechanic, creative puzzles, heart-breaking story and gorgeous art design; this old man offers you the journey of your life. Walk beside him hence he does not deserve walking this path alone.
Old Man's Journey is a very emotional and beautiful game that cannot be blamed for anything other than its simple gameplay and its short duration, which compensates with the rest of its aspects and how it enters through the eyes (and ears).

Old Man’s Journey is a stunning game and one of the most pleasurable reviewing experiences I’ve had in some time.
Old Man’s Journey is an emotional, narrative-less experience in which you must guide an ‘Old Man’ as he embarks on a trip based on the mysterious letter he received in the post. Although the game has one core mechanic – the raising and lowering of hills – the game changes things around by introducing hazards and various other mechanics which will make you think. The whole game looks and sounds beautiful with an amazing art style and a pleasant soundtrack which combinate into an emotional story of discovery, loss, and regret.
Old Man’s Journey is a heartwarming, sad, and intriguing story unfolding in a world that feels magical with its always eye-opening impressive visuals. A journey well worth your time.
Enjoy the colorful adventure of Broken Rules. A story about life, friendship, love, pain, passion and loss. A sensory trip that you should not miss.

Old Man's Journey is a small, quiet game that you can tell was a work of passion. Sometimes the best way to get someone to listen to you is to whisper. In a just world, this spare kaleidoscope of memories and manipulated hillsides will garner as much attention as bigger games beset with earth-shaking explosions. As we all learn in time, it's often the smaller chance encounters that make the most impact on us. Especially when we look back.
Though Old Man's Journey is a short adventure, it's a gorgeous and memorable one thanks to its heartfelt storytelling and intriguing puzzles.
Old Man's Journey is sweet and undemanding
Simplicity is the biggest strength of Old Man's Journey. It doesn't require you to be a genius or a master gamer, but to have a penchant for something more oft-kilter. That it manages to be a satisfying experience all without saying a single word is remarkable and definitely worth a look.
Old Man's Journey proposes a unique experience that features an interesting plot, a magnificent visual component and a series of challenges that will quickly conquer the player. While its lifespan my feel short and its price a bit too steep, Old Man's Journey is another game that is more than worthy of an opportunity and which deserves its place within the Nintendo Switch.

A short and charming adventure. A lifetime journey through regrets. Two points of view on the same story, and each of them has every right to exist. One of the most beautiful games of the year is paradoxical. On the one hand, it is notably lacking in detail and depth — at least give us the names of the characters. On the other hand, it is a perfectly coherent statement, all details of which perfectly complement each other.

Old Man's Journey is without a doubt quite the charming game with emotional undertones and stunning artwork. The memories alone are worth seeing. This is the type of game that anyone can play and relate to even if some the events shown aren't any that one has gone through personally. It's about 2 hours, but depending on how you view that, it's the price of movie ticket, but you also get to keep the game in your library. It's a good one to play with family and friends just about anywhere and the art alone is worth to keep. I would love to see another type of this game expanded on in the future.
I’d say the moral of Old Man’s Journey relates well in a somewhat tangential way to my review thoughts. Your time is precious, so be sure to make the most of it and try not to give yourself things to regret. The further along in your own life and experiences you are the easier it is to recommend it wholeheartedly as its story will likely hit you quite a few ways right in the feels. The younger you are it is probably harder to justify since that shifts more responsibility to the adequate-but-not-incredble puzzle aspects of it. Old Man’s Journey fits well into the Switch library with its own distinct story to tell complemented by outstanding art and satisfying puzzles.
