The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Reviews
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an incredible achievement. It's impossible to list all the positives and highlights. There's a sense of awe and wonder it elicits, from the moment you pick up the controller.
The Witcher 3 is an engaging, overwhelmingly lengthy gaming experience with a staggering amount of characters to meet and places to explore. With solid quest structure, great voice acting and a killer soundtrack, there's really not much we can say or add that could further sugar-coat our sentiment, which is as follows: "this is the game to buy right now, like, NOW!"
Comparison to The Witcher 3 would embarrass almost any RPG. It excels at everything most games suck at, from comic timing to narrative follow-through. It has the most expressive faces, the best drunken banter, the funniest throwaway gags, the most casual sex, and the deftest camera movements. But its best trick is to mold narrative from the materials that games have lately used as a sort of flavorless stuffing. In almost every side-quest and monster-hunting contract you undertake, there are telltale signs of someone at CD Projekt Red actually giving a s***.
The finest RPG in many years, with a vast open world that truly feels alive. Highly polished in every area and stuffed full of quality content, this game sets a new benchmark for the genre.
The Witcher 3 is an incredible achievement by CD Projekt Red, with a huge world to explore, seemingly endless hand-crafted quests and a central story that holds the experience together marvelously.
The Witcher 3 does have some minor flaws but ultimately is a game every RPG fan should play this year. This game is easily going to be a contender for Game Of The Year in 2015.
Despite my minor complaints regarding the combat and the (massively inflated) controversy over the graphical downgrade, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a staggeringly accomplished game. The developers, CD Projeckt RED should be proud of what they've created. I just hope that others are paying attention.
The Witcher 3’s next gen update adds a great new quest, some snazzy armours, and litany of interesting tweaks to the game, but, on PC, it’s undermined by a parade of performance issues.
While CD Projekt Red has lost some credibility following the disastrous launch of CyberPunk 2077 two years ago, The Witcher 3’s free next-gen upgrade should go a long way in regaining gamers’ trust and helping to restore some of the lost faith in the developer’s name. One can only hope that other studios will begin to follow CD Projekt Red’s example for future remasters.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was a great game when it came out and made a mark on its time. So is this Next-Gen update worth your while to dive back in or to start discovering the Witcher universe? My answer is yes.The original game already had a fantastic art direction and a vast living world. The graphical improvements sublimate the universe, and the gameplay improvements give this Next Gen version a touch of modernity enough to dive back into it.This update will allow all newcomers to discover this unique universe and prepare a new generation of players for the next The Witcher and the remake of The Witcher 1.
A welcome update, The Witcher 3 is just as magnificent and engrossing as it was seven years ago. It looks beautiful, but still retains that rusty charm that sometimes creeps into a game so massive. Given that it’s a free upgrade, there’s no better time to get back into the world of Geralt and the Wild Hunt.
Yup. This is still one of the best RPG games ever made. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition Next Gen Update offers a lengthy story with high-quality voice acting and stunning graphics. For players who are familiar with the Netflix adaptation, there are additional story elements to discover and exclusive armor sets that are inspired by the show. There are new ways to filter the map, new quick sign options, and many more quality-of-life updates. These added features enhance the overall gaming experience. It's a nice touch. The base game, as well as the expansion packs "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine," offer hours upon hours of content that will keep players engaged for a long time.
With even more polished visuals, especially in terms of lighting and textures, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition expands the original experience with new items, a new mission inspired by the Netflix series and several gameplay improvements, not to mention a system for access saves on any device. Whether you're a veteran who can get your free copy of the new edition or a new player, this is a must-have title in your library.

Albeit, they had eventually implemented significant changes, you could say the damage was already done. But with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s next-gen update, they have done more than enough to get back in many of those fans’ good books and are back on the right track.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is unquestionably improved by the aforementioned free update. It's prettier, easier to play, and more enjoyable overall thanks to a wealth of tweaks big and little, and no RPG fan should miss playing it.
Is there anything else that needs to be said? The The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was nearly perfect back in 2015, mostly hampered by bugs (which have already been fixed) and the hardware they were running on. The hardware issue is no more, with these next-gen versions letting you play these games the way they were intended to be experienced, with nearly no loading times, improved visuals, and a much sexier framerate. Is it worth revisiting it yet again? Absolutely! It might be a nearly 150 hour long RPG (counting the expansions and Gwent, of course), but it’s just way too good to be set aside.
This is by far the best version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A must-have game!

The Witcher 3 is nearly a masterpiece. If the combat and movement were better, it would be for me. As is this is one of the best experiences in gaming, and everyone should play this version of it.
The vibrant world of The Northern Realms is so vast and includes so much content that you could dedicate a book to it. The leading RPG of the year has arrived, one that won't be matched, let alone surpassed, in the near future. Take that red marker and circle May 19, 2015, but in the agenda: that day, a new standard will definitely be set in gaming.
