It may not be the purist's choice, but for pure enjoyment it cannot be beaten. Everybody's Golf is everything I wanted from the return of the series.

There are a few design and progression issues but, ultimately, Everybody's Golf is a triumphant return for the series. The golf gameplay is deep yet simple enough to fully understand, there is a huge amount of content both online and off to get stuck into, and the light-hearted tone and style make the world a joy to spend time in.

Clap Hanz's effort to evolve Everybody's Golf is a successful way of thinking outside of the box.

The game makes you replay a paltry number of out-of-the-box courses and its modes lack features, resulting in a sidestep for the series.

Not every single aspect of Everybody's Golf hits the mark, but so, so much of it does. It gets the most important parts right, and I'm hopeful we'll see some quality-of-life updates and advanced control options before long to help close the gap. Clap Hanz has dreamed up a wonderfully warmhearted game, one I encourage every would-be golfer to consider picking up.

Everybody's Golf is joyful, fun and packed of amazing things to do. Clap Hanz reinvented its take on golf with a gripping online mode and a very functional ability progression system without losing the "easy to learn, hard to master" attitude of the series. The game lacks on the technical side, but it's fun to play and is really meant for everyone, so if you don't hate to spend time on the green, Everybody's Golf is really worth playing.

With Everybody's Golf, Clap Hanz gives longtime fans and newcomers plenty of reason to hit the links, even if it doesn't quite live up to all its promise.

Everybody's Golf takes a fresh start by going online and enhancing its progess system. The Turf War mode is a fun way to change your approach by going so much faster than usual, and this time you have to actually use your stuff to make it better. Wherever it is your first time going for a put or not, it is the most fun you can get with a golfing game. However, its limited number of courses and its clumsy design might miss the boat...

Everybody's Golf is a great game for those who want to relax and hit the virtual links. The game provides a good challenge that increases slightly as you progress. The beautiful graphics and calming soundtrack make the world more engaging and serene. The extra activities such as golf cart driving and fishing add to the already high replayability. If you're a fan of the Hot Shots series, you'll definitely want to pick this up.

A more than correct golf game. It preserves the franchise's effective and confortable gameplay. The new additions may like or dislike you depending of the type of player that you are. The focus is on social gaming now, that's for sure.

The latest iteration of Everybody's Golf represents an evolution for the classic PlayStation golf franchise. The new character progression system is one of the most welcomed features on top of the robust online modes and the freedom it offers on the golf course. If you can look beyond the grinding, you can enjoy a very pleasant virtual golf experience.

Everybody’s Golf isn’t going to disappoint any fan of the series or the sport in general. It offers enough life and good ol’ golf fun that you’ll be more than happy with your purchase into this particular genre. It’s just that the open world mechanic that was advertised doesn’t really do anything and this effort could have been used to add more modes or online options. The repetitiveness will break through after a while and may make this title one that will take a backseat to other video games.

Overall, Everybody's Golf can be a fun game, but I think they painted too broad of a picture by claiming it's "Everybody's Golf." Personally, I would have left it as Hot Shots and called it a day.

Still the most enjoyable videogame golf, and also the most charming, with a successful move to an open world approach. More variety and a fundamental overhaul of the core mechanics are the only points lacking.
