Bayonetta 1+2 Reviews
Bayonetta gets a welcome reissue on Switch. The game's fluid gameplay and tough as nails difficulty remain firmly intact. There's a nice nod to the ecosystem the game now finds itself on with some cool costumes based on Nintendo royalty. Otherwise, it's the same game as before. Overall, I cannot recommend Bayonetta 2 enough, this is a game that every Nintendo enthusiast and gamer should have in their collection.
Bayonetta 1 and 2 remain a fantastic duo of action titles that feel perfectly at home on Nintendo Switch. Being able to play two of Platinum Games' finest efforts whenever you like is hugely appealing, and the abundance of content on offer here only makes it even better.
The original Bayonetta may be almost ten years old but that doesn't mean that its gameplay is any less amazing or that its action loses any pace. Bayonetta 2 has not suffered with the passage of time and this epic action game remains one of the finest examples of its kind. Featuring the same breathtaking gameplay and incredible action sequences, Bayonetta 2 on the Switch provides an even more complete experience compared to the original thanks to its newfound possibility of playing it everywhere. A real gem that should be in everyone's library.

If it's not a port that changes a thing, it's still a pleasure to be able to play Bayonetta anywhere, anytime Years after its inital release, Bayonetta 2 keeps on delivering. It is still the best beat them all you can play at this time, the most beautiful, the craziest, the most generous.

Though the first game's starting to show its age as far as visuals go, the relentless action remains timeless. Fast, frantic and frivolously fun, it's still worth playing. The sequel, however, improves upon everything; deliver a more focused, more nuanced and more refined. It's a glorious masterclass in design and flow.
The queen of stylish action has now made her way to the Nintendo Switch, and along with Bayonetta herself comes two of the best action adventures money can buy. While both games have minor nitpicks and there, overall they're fantastic experiences enjoyable by casual and hardcore players alike, giving form to quality re-releases on Nintendo's latest platform.
After the series spent eight years bouncing around gaming platforms, it finally feels like it's found a true home on the Switch.
Even though both games are coming well after players enjoyed them on several other platforms, the Bayonetta games remain near-perfect examples of pure, unfiltered action and spectacle. Both Bayonetta games seamlessly blend escalating action with imaginative design and a combat system that toes the line between accessibility and making you feel like a true badass, and rewarding players with careful timing and experimentation. Bayonetta‘s over-the-top action and style may not be for everyone, but for Switch owners looking for a bit of blood-pumping action to have on-the-go, it's easy to recommend having Bayonetta show you a good time.
The Bayonetta titles remain two of the most fun action games ever made, and so the chance to revisit them is a treat – especially as you can now play them anywhere and in their most technically reliable form.
Cereza continues to age well as "Bayonetta 1 + 2: Switch Collection" brings Platinum's high-octane franchise to Nintendo's latest system for new players and series fans alike. Folks who already own both games might not have much reason to get it unless they want to experience the Bayonetta series again on the go. For action game lovers who never played either game before, getting this is pretty much a no-brainer. Now bring on Bayonetta 3.
When the Witch of Umbra decides to dance under the pale light of the full moon, we will extend her hand to dance with her. And now, with the hybrid version of Kyoto, we can stand by it at any time, always ready to brandish our weapons and torture the divine army. On Switch, bayonetta's two chapters find their ideal refuge, adapting appropriately to the pace of portability and maintaining considerable fluidity during the action.

Whilst I think that it's a little bit overpriced (and should include Bayonetta 1 on a physical cartridge), it's almost impossible to deny the brilliance of both Bayonetta games. Bayonetta herself is one of the sassiest characters in gaming and the combat is simply better than any hack and slash action game that I've ever played (and still is to this day). The game is only made better by the enhanced performance and portability provided by the Nintendo Switch and it's one that every Switch owner should have in their collection.
This is one for Bayonetta hardcore fans or those who've missed out on the originals. It's also a brilliant way to get ready for Bayonetta 3.
Platinum Games shining star from the days of the Wii U has made a huge comeback now that it's on the Nintendo Switch. With a heavy amount of action, a nearly 60fps experience, and huge replay value, Bayonetta 2 is right at home on the Switch. Fans of the game will fall in love all over again, while newcomers will be in for a massive treat.
Two masterpieces in every regard, Bayonetta and its sequel still provide the consummate action adventure with combat which has not been bettered, outrageous stories and a main character of sheer brilliance. Play these games, I implore you.
Ultimately, these are two of the most enjoyable and finely crafted action games ever released. While the lack of meaningful new content or resolution bump is a bit disappointing, if you’ve yet to experience these bats–t crazy but beautiful brawlers, this is the perfect time to discover what makes the Bayonetta series so bewitching.
The first Bayonetta is one of the best stylish action game ever. Similar to the Wii U version, this new edition is smoother than the previous one. It is the last call to play with the sexy witch witch before the arrival of next chapter. Bayonetta 2 on Switch looks smoother and more solid. It is undoubtedly on of the best action games ever made, and it's a joy to play while we wait for the next chapter.

Bayonetta & Bayonetta 2 are a perfect witch's brew of fun and functionality on the Switch.
Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are fantastic games on their own and they are a true mark on PlatinumGames’ ability as creative developers
It feels like a bad 70's action movie and the story, characters and quirkiness of the gameplay is pure ingenious. Even after all these years, Bayonetta 2 on the Nintendo 2 is still a very fun experience with a great gaming engine, exceptional graphics and a female protagonist that will make you laugh and also give you a healthy dose of controller rage.
