SYMMETRY is a tough survival management game telling an intriguing story about a crew stranded on a mysterious and inhospitable planet. The gameplay is addictive and rewarding, with enough randomised elements to make each story replay different and an alternate Survival mode for players wanting an extra challenge.

While Symmetry has an appealing art style, and an intriguing story, it doesn't have the gameplay to hold attention

Symmetry has an interesting gameplay that combines resource management with a survival game. It has a minimalistic art style that we liked very much. But it's high difficulty will make you lose your patience really fast. In some occasions you'll feel that the game is being unjust with you, no matter how well you think you're playing.

Symmetry is a time management survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The excessive difficulty and the little reward to the player makes the playing experience less enjoyable.

Symmetry is an incredibly engaging and thrilling game with a surprising story. This mix of simplicity and high difficulty level makes it perfect for players looking for a challenge.

There are promises of patches from the developers which is encouraging, as to really get hooked the game will need an extra level of resources to keep you challenged. The setting and mood created by the audio and graphics are to be applauded and this experience certainly delivers a neat, challenging, but somewhat short, survival management game.

SYMMETRY takes masterful atmosphere aided by great art and sound, and plugs it all into overly simple yet unfairly difficult gameplay strung around a story that starts in an interesting manner but goes nowhere meaningful. There is a whole lot of potential on display here that gets left out in the cold.

Symmetry is a beautiful survival game that tells a harrowing sci-fi story that's grounded by gameplay that never really takes off.

A relatively slow start soon becomes a frantic effort to combat sub-zero temperatures, starvation and insanity. If your constitution can withstand murder, cannibalism, paranoid delusions and a choking miasma of nihilistic despair, Symmetry will effortlessly contribute to your existing psychopathy. Recommended!

Symmetry is good survival management game, however with limited options and low replayability. Not as cool as This War of Mine or Distrust.

I had fun with Symmetry even with the controls making me furious. Somehow ... Symmetry plays like a part of something bigger, like a demo of a game that could turn out great. Somewhere, there has to be a big DLC that brings the actual content ... or not? It's nice for one playthrough, but I don't see a real reason to play Symmetry ever again.

Symmetry is a very unforgiving and hard survival game which will have you screaming at the TV when you accidentally send someone to their death. It's very addictive with it's an interesting story and solid gameplay which always leaves you with a "one more try" attitude once you inevitably die. If you like survival games or micro-management ones like This War of Mine, then I can't recommend it enough. There is enough here to challenge anyone and even though the gameplay is a bit repetitive, your experiences from one game to the next wont be.

SYMMETRY is latest survival game to entice me with its pretty art style and allure of simulated suffering in a frozen wasteland. It has a unique charm and an alluring story. Unfortunately, it is too short and lacks content. Forget the $11.99 price tag for a moment. There is absolutely zero bang for your buck here. In terms of production quality, it’s an incredibly professional looking game. However, it feels like the tutorial level of a much larger story.

I actually really liked Symmetry, or at least the core concept of the game yet it's just completely broken.

An interesting experiment game that is currently near-impossible, and is in desperate need of a few tweaks.

To put it bluntly, this is a game that completely loses its pull once you figure it out because there’s only one efficient way of succeeding, and while you can technically engage in some of the game’s superfluous, almost decorative mechanics, there’s no real reason to do so.
