Watching paint dry really can be entertaining, in this relentlessly cheerful mix of platformer and interactive colouring book.
De Blob 2 comes to modern day consoles with its essence still intact. This game has carried well all these years and still has great quality. However, there is this feeling of missing new content and better technical improvements.

Without being an essential classic, 'Blob 2' resists much better the passage of time and both visually and mechanically is perfectly valid in 2018.

de Blob 2 is a solid game that I am glad has made a return. While the remaster portion is a little of a misnomer, it is nice to see the game back. Now with these two remasters out of the way hopefully THQ Nordic can get on crafting the final chapter in the Blob trilogy. Bring it back, and make it beautiful. Colorful platformers are always welcome in my world.
de Blob 2 is absolutely worth playing if you have any fondness for 3D platformers.
de Blob 2 makes its premiere on the Nintendo Switch and it arrives as a 3D action platformer that features a simple and accessible gameplay that is certain to catch the eye of less experienced players. If its simplicity means that De Blob 2 is easy to grasp, it will also leave out those players looking for something more challenging, as the game quickly becomes too repetitive and its level of challenge is simply not up to what most players are looking for.

de Blob 2 keeps many of the same characteristics found in the original game, with both the brilliant - and the not-so-brilliant - features mostly staying intact. The cameras can still be occasionally fiddly, and things can feel a little too easy in places, but brand new 2D sections and a slightly more refined-feeling overall experience put the sequel just above the original in our pecking order. Either game should go down well – especially with a younger audience – but this one just about splashes its way into first place.
While it's true that it has some camera problems that can be annoying, it won't mess up the gaming experience the title offers: there's fun, humor and lots of color. A must have.

If you've played de Blob 2 back in 2011, no need to play this PS4 port. Even if you liked it back then. Almost no changes have been made to the game and none of its weak points have been improved. de Blob 2 is an average platformer at best. Cool soundtrack though.

A pretty long game, which was quite original before indie games were popular. Today it takes a lot more to get players' attention.
