Batman: The Enemy Within - The Complete Season Reviews
The Enemy Within is uneven, but its highs make for a superb adventure where you are held accountable for your choices
Batman: The Enemy Within is an improvement on the first season in nearly every way, with enhanced combat sequences, a strong presentation and voice cast and an engrossing relationship between Batman and the Joker that produces some memorable and heart-wrenching moments that feel well-justified by the player's choices up to those moments.
Although it improves the result of the first season, Telltale still has work ahead with the license of one of the most iconic characters of DC and their own vision and history.

Batman: The Enemy Within is a real treat for all the Caped Crusader fans out there: the second season of Telltale's Batman offers a great reimagining of the Joker's origins, meaningful choices that truly affect the plot, and the usual, well written and intense storyline. Definitely, a must have.

The story centered on John Doe and Bruce Wayne (the Joker and Batman) is why you should play Batman: The Enemy Within. The rest of the characters and narrative are mediocre, but this interpretation of the clown prince of crime is so strong that it makes it all worth it.
Batman: The Enemy Within is an excellent Telltale Games title in story and execution, but probably won't change the hearts or minds of players who want more choice efficacy in their adventure games.
A strong story, excellent performances, and some welcome gameplay improvements make Batman: The Enemy Within another great addition to the Batman canon.
The Enemy Within lets you shape and navigate your way through not only an entire relationship, that being the one with John Doe, but also in the direction and creation of The Joker. When you factor in that the Joker is perhaps almost as iconic as Batman, that Telltale was able to execute this progression at all, let alone imbue it with emotional weight – makes The Enemy Within essential for fans of the caped crusader.
A great story and strong character development for Batman and the Joker makes The Enemy Within one of the best efforts from TellTale Games since the end of Season 1 of The Walking Dead.
Batman The Enemy Within is one of Telltale's best seasons by constantly surprising its interpretation of the Dark Knight's world. John Doe's journey into madness turns him into a multifaceted and fascinating character to accompany. Despite not innovating in its mechanics nor in the form of narrative and player choices, Telltale delivers a season that involves the player until the end.

Batman: The Enemy Within is a blast of a follow-up season to Telltale's Caped Crusader, as Bruce Wayne plays a pivotal role in trying to bring down the villainous group known as the Pact.
Bare-boned gameplay based on QTEs isn's that appealing, but the story and characters will immerse players into the mean streets of Gotham.

Despite interesting choices that alter events, Batman: The Enemy Within is not quite a stellar experience. Watching Joker come alive as he interacts with Bruce is alluring and the finale is impressive, but the second season squanders the best features of the original season and has the same problems as Telltale's other recent efforts.
A fantastic sequel that explores new areas of famous characters in compelling stories and explores one of Batman's most famous villains while finding a fresh angle that hasn't been explored.
After experiencing the latest game from TellTale, it's clear that they have changed their approach towards game development, and there is no hope to get back to the golden age of story narration. And although there is some fun to be had thanks to the Batman universe and some correct narration choices, Enemy Within is not the game that was wanted by the fans.

Batman: The Enemy Within is very good Telltale game, that can be recommended not only to all the loyal DC Comics fans, but also to those who like episodic adventure games. Don't expect dramatic changes to the Telltale formula, though.

Batman - The Telltale Series: The Enemy Within improves upon its predecessor in all ways, with it offering a more intense narrative, meatier episodes, a more cinematic presentation, and a less bug-filled adventure for wannabe caped-vigilantes to head out on. Add to that a finale episode that REALLY takes your choices on board with its arcing structure, and it might even be considered Telltale Games’ best release yet… maybe. I might be riding high on Batman - The Telltale Series: The Enemy Within since I’m a big fan of Batman anyway, but it really is a great game. I had fun with it from start to end and now I’m left eagerly anticipating what Telltale Games will do with the inevitable third season.
