The Crew 2 is a respectable game and a fun experience for a short amount of time. The game world is filled with gorgeous vistas and fantastic visual fidelity. I think with DLCs and future entries, we might see the evolution of this series

If you look at sales figures for The Crew 2 recently, you would've noticed that it hasn't been performing particularly well considering the amount of money that went into PR, advertisements and sponsorships.
Taking an American muscle car at 300 km/h along a gorge, falling hopelessly into the void and ending up maneuvering gracefully an aircraft in an instant is a pleasant driving experience that is rarely seen in the racing genre; but it's just one of the many activities that The Crew 2 has prepared. It's a game you either love or hate; while fun and accessible, not all of its elements shine as it could.

With Ubisoft's newfound focus on making singular games into long-standing experiences, there is hope that The Crew 2 gets better. In the here and now, it is a very difficult game to recommend. The use of multiple vehicles and presence of different disciplines is grand, but it doesn't help that the physics and handling for some of the vehicles feels off. The open world remains impressive but less so when there's barely anything fun to do. Although it's designed for constant online play, good luck trying to find someone who stays long enough for you to engage with, let alone someone who can witness the sweet decal job on your vehicle. It may get better in a year's time, but for now, The Crew 2 is more of a chore than an enjoyable experience.
A great driving game, a poor racing game. Has some technical issues involving controller support and their idea of multiplayer is somewhat unusual for this genre. A game I would happily spend more time with, but can't recommend highly in its current state.
It may be flawed, but there's a ton of content and the base game is still fun to play , so I'm still recommending this to fans of the genre.
The best racing game in 2018 for now.

It may sound repetitive to say but The Crew 2 is another incompelete experience deleivered by Ubisoft. The new installment is improved in many aspects but the lack of the pvp multiplayer till December, poor physics and a cheesy plot still hunts the dreams of becoming a successful franchise.

Overall, The Crew 2 comes recommended to any motorsport and racing fan.
Even though its racing events and driving experiences are fun, The Crew 2 is not good enough for you to pay its full price.
It may not deliver the most polished racing experience, or the most nuanced driving model, but where else is a player going to experience a race that goes from sports cars to powerboats to off-road rally cars in a single run?
Even the cool opening sequence, in which the world literally bends itself into a new state as you swap vehicles, doesn't carry over to the game. You just press a button and morph to the other type, and perhaps fall with a big clunk from the air before driving off as if nothing happens. It's like banging hot wheels together, if the rest of the cars in the box you aren't playing with hate you. I was kinda hoping for a more mature Diddy Kong Racing with some more hardcore trappings. Instead, I got a headache from squinting ahead for turn arrows and playing with loot boxes.
The Crew 2 is an ambitious game, yet an inconsistent one. It has many flaws that can't be ignored, but at the end of the day, it still manages to provide an undeniably enjoyable experience.
The Crew 2 comes off as appealing when looking at a spec sheet of what it has to offer.
While there are issues big and small with The Crew 2, it's still a lot of fun thanks to its varied content offerings and massive world. It almost comes close to meeting its full potential but it's still an enjoyable follow-up to Ubisoft's first entry in the racing franchise. There's clearly a foundation for something much grander and I hope Ivory Tower can learn from their shortcomings here and deliver the ultimate racing game that rivals the likes of Forza Horizon with The Crew 3.
The Crew 2 successfully expand its stage from ground to sky and sea, bringing a new trend to racing games. It still has some problems with the AI, handling and graphics performance, but overall it is a decent game with a good reproduction of American landscapes.

The Crew 2 has a beautiful open world, but average driving, strange design choices and weak multiplayer prevent it from utilizing it to its full potential.
The Crew 2 has a huge and solid structure, but in terms of quality the game in some elements lacks of detail, especially in graphics and driving system. We hope in the great support of Ubisoft for the contents to come.
