F1 2018 Reviews

This year's entry may not have quite the same wow factor as 2017's game, but it doesn't need to. It quietly and in an understated way surpasses its predecessor quite brilliantly.
F1 2018 is an excellent game for fans of the series. A convenient difficulty settings will be especially useful for new players, but they are unlikely to stay for long, given the specific content and its relatively small variety.

Choosing to focus on improving the already excellent career mode for F1 2018, rather than adding something entirely new and shallow, was a great decision on Codemasters' part. The new iteration offers Formula One fans a near perfect simulation of the sport, complete down to the last technical detail, but the assist settings and satisfying racing make it a viable racing option for even those with cursory F1 knowledge.
It's not often that a game opens you up to a whole new sport, but if you give F1 2018 some time, it will do that. Fans of sim racing should give this one a look, even if they're more into street cars and exotics. Why wait to unlock the most amazing cars in the world when you can start behind the wheel?
Racing around a track in F1 2018 is fundamentally enthralling, even if you don't closely follow the sport.
Polished on many aspects that were defects, this F1 2018 is an excellent vintage to justify its purchase even for those who own the previous version. The new regulations are also numerous and it is essential to follow the movement to stick to reality. With its driving combining both sensations and racing strategy, F1 2018 brings an unusual depth in car games. Fans of formula one, go for it. For others, you will learn a lot about discipline if you decide to give it a try.

F1 2018 doesn't skimp on technically deep and rigorous racing, but its approach to appease both hardcore F1 fans and curious racing fans alike make it a title that has a much broader appeal than just the sport itself. It's a gorgeous package with smartly designed content to keep you entertaining on and off the track, and just a darn fine racing experience around every corner.
A complete, positive and visually very good experience. One of the best F1 games.

F1 2018 is a triumphant addition to the Codemasters F1 franchise
F1 2018 may be a little inaccessible for casual players, but for Formula One fans it's a deep technical marvel and a racing fan's dream game.
Quite how Codemasters has managed to top last year's incredible effort is quite beyond me, but F1 2018 manages to eclipse F1 2017, delivering an even more definitive and just as essential Formula One game that fans will 'lap' up. Get it bought.
F1 2018 is a better version of last year edition. A lot of changes make sense for casual fans. Fortunately, hardcore players aren't abandoned.

A brilliant evolution of an established franchise, F1 2018 has more content than ever to keep both casual racers and motorsport hobbyists occupied well into the offseason.
F1 2018 builds upon the past successes of the series and nudges it forward just enough. However, Codemasters will have to bring something dramatic soon as while the saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it" rings true, when it comes to games, you need to reinvent just enough.
Similar to any Formula 1 car, the game is deep and fun to play despite occasional mechanical issues.
F1 2018 brings the complete Formula One experience to your cockpit.
F1 2018 is well tuned, chock full of content and options, and equally satisfying for newcomers and veterans alike.
