Just Cause 4 Reviews
Even ignoring the massive technical faults, Just Cause 4 just isn’t fun to play.
In a year where Square Enix also released The Quiet Man, I’d be hard pressed to decide which of these games is worse. Just Cause 4 may have a slightly higher score, but I think I’d prefer playing The Quiet Man. At least that title is short.
Just Cause 4 is just more of the same. The physics engine that has been around since Just Cause 2 is still fun to see in action, but that's about it. There is nothing new about Just Cause 4 that makes it stand out from other entries in the Just Cause series. The Extreme Weather system that was meant to make a huge difference in Just Cause 4 just isn't used enough for me to care, and outside of things going BOOM, the game just seems like more of the same.
It doesn’t matter how cool an individual set piece looks if all the smaller scenes leading up to it are marred by unresponsive vehicles, dumb AI, and shoddy physics.
Avalanche Studios clearly tried doing something different with the Just Cause series and added some new flavor to Just Cause 4. It’s a shame none of the additions really fit or handled properly. The story wasn’t well told, gameplay gravitated away from proper destruction, and just things that make the title look like it’s from 2008. If Just Cause 4 is like this because the developers are running out of ideas, it might be best to retire the series and move on to something else.
Just Cause 4 is not a better game than its predecessor. In many ways, it feels like the same game, just with a new continent to explore. For some, this may be all they ever wanted, but for the rest of us, it's just not enough. The formula starts to show itself early and can feel monotonous only a few hours in. There will always be joy in the mass destruction of the Just Cause 4 games, but the games seem to rely more and more on "making your own fun" instead of pushing the player into exciting and unique scenarios via the mission structure and overall game design.
Rico's newest adventure falls flat. Worth a rental, or just play the third in the series, which is so far the high-water mark.
Another Just Cause game with a couple of meaningless additions, which didn't fix almost any issues of Just Cause 3.

Just Cause 4 is more or less of the same. It's still good to play Rico and use its usual stuff, but it lacks strong new features, and with its redundant secondary quests system, its dated visuals and all the bugs, it just feels like a average game.

Just Cause 4 is more a technical demonstration of the engine's capabilities than an exciting modern game. If you are waiting for an interesting missions, nice story and fresh decisions, then you just will not get them. The game may be fun for the first couple of hours, especially due to explosions and acrobatics, but then it gets pretty boring.

There are times when Just Cause 4 is amazing, but the final result is a game that loses parts of what made Just Cause great in the first place. The new mission structure repetitive and causes the series' staple destruction to take a backseat. The tether customization is top notch and the new weapons are a winner, but things like throwable C4 are gone. And the extreme weather, which is exciting when it appears, doesn't make its presence felt during most of the game. I had fun with Just Cause 4, but it's a game I want to love more than I actually do. Temper your expectations.
Just Cause is always known for its action aspect. And the fact is not changed with Just Cause 4. But with almost last gen visual and countless of bugs and issues, it feels like a rushed game.

Recommending Just Cause 4 to both old fans of the series and new players is a hard task. if you are a fan of this series you might be easily disappointed because the game hasn't changed much compared to the previous games. and if you're new to the series, you might fell in the trap to compare it to other open world games out there and therefore not enjoy it much. there are many issues in the basis of its gameplay that can't be resolved even with huge updates.

There's no denying that Just Cause 4 is a disappointing game with its generic gameplay and embarrassing graphics.
It pains me to speak ill of a series I’ve thoroughly enjoyed in the past, but Just Cause 4 is a disappointing extension that needs to aim a lot higher and is, frankly, kind of boring. In the climate of exceptional games that have preceded it this year, it simply does not hold up.
Just Cause 4 is a sequel that's looks to be promising on many aspects but in the same time failed to make enough improvement from the last sequel, however the Arabic full support was very much appreciated

A game with a lot of promise and not much else. Riddled with technical issues and visually underwhelming to the point of being barely playable.
Just Cause 4 has a beautiful and varied world of surfing, exploding and Bollywood. But this is all the game has to offer, it doesn't make the effort to pay attention to the Story and characters, and the technical difficulties and repetitive stages prevent you from having a lasting experience.

Just Cause 4 has so many problems. Bad graphics, bad story, and weaker gameplay. But the missions are enjoyable to the point that you might accept it all. Weak Recommend
Just Cause 4 is not an ideal sequel and certainly not the best of its genre. Many of the shortcomings will presumably be fixed in some time, but at the moment you may not get the experience you're hoping for.
