As it stands it's is a ‘life sim' that could do with a little more of the former.

My Time at Portia takes a lot of positive notes from popular farming simulators like Stardew Valley and Minecraft, and puts its own creative spin on things.

My Time at Portia may not be the most creative indie game of recent times and it also may not be free of flaws, however it is so full of content and enjoyable that it is easy to forgive a relatively small team for their intermittent mistakes. My Time at Portia shoots for the moon and lands there save for irregular hiccups.

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Video Game is in the middle of the pack of Milestone S.r.l games. It's not fun or amazing or even disappointing. It might actually be unique for players who aren't into this genre though technical issues, lack of variety and risk stops this from being an incredible game

This can cause it to be intimidating and more than a little confusing at times. The quality of its many systems range from addictive to annoying. However, taken as a whole My Time at Portia is a rich world full of activity that, when played at an appropriately chill pace, will yield many hours of charming fun.

This genre is about pretty mundane work, but what makes it so wonderful is it distills that work down to the point that it feels effortless. Sadly, I ended up having to put more effort into My Time At Portia than I do with the actual work I do in real life.

Tries to do a whole lot and doesn't do it all perfectly, but certainly doesn't fail either.

My Time at Portia is a peaceful, beautiful life simulation that offers a calming experience, but little that pushes the boundaries of its genre. Simulation fans will find plenty to enjoy in this large, detailed world, but little to surprise them.

My Time At Portia isn't the best game in its genre, but it's still a appealing and well-made game. Despite some shortcomings in gameplay and storytelling, living in the colorful and beauteous world of Portia is very enjoyable. Developers got their inspiration from other RPG and simulator titles to create a lovable title that's definitely worth trying and despite being incomplete it can still be addicting.

My Time at Portia is an amazing port of one of the best Farming, Harvesting and Building sims this generation. Whether you’re out in the field tending to your livestock, mining for resources, building items for the community, or just sat in a cafe chatting to your soon-to-be wife, there’s always something to keep you busy and entertained within Portia. Graphically, the game looks like a 3D modelled Studio Ghibli movie with its bright colours, stunning backdrops and detailed character design. Once I really got into it I found myself totally addicted to it, I just couldn’t stop playing!

GOOD - My Time At Portia is a charming attempt at the Simulation RPG genre. While it has its fair share of flaws that make the game difficult to get into at first, the experience beyond the entry point is nothing short of rewarding. There’s a sincere charm to this game that you don’t often find.
