MLB 19: The Show Reviews
MLB The Show 19 shows that San Diego Studios isn't sitting on their butts doing nothing to improve the player experience. They are still making this game better and better each year. This year's game brings more refined game modes, a more engaged baseball experience, and it does enough to stay fresh. It isn't perfect, but it's damn near it.
For better or worse, it feels like I'm writing the same review for MLB The Show every year.
PS4's MLB The Show 19 continues to be the best baseball video game on the market
MLB The Show 19 is both improved in some important spots and disappointingly unimproved in others that really need love. But though it may not be perfect, it's still the best baseball game money can buy and well worth any baseball enthusiast's time.
MLB the Show 19 has a lot to offer.
Overall, MLB The Show 19 is nearly perfect with the vision that San Diego Studios had. If they just made something different in Franchise mode, then it would be a true masterpiece. Even then this is still the best baseball game to date.
MLB The Show 19 is a comprehensive baseball sim with a wide variety of engaging modes.
MLB The Show 19 introduces two of the best additions to the series in years with the very easy to pick up and play March to October and Moments modes that make the game a perfect companion to have for the rest of the baseball season and beyond.
Refined gameplay, new modes, and a deep Road to the Show mode give MLB The Show 19 a promising opening day.
MLB The Show 19 takes itself through the paces and comes out improved and enhanced quite well. The game itself is still missing a few features to make it truly potent. The franchise delivers a beautiful, streamlined product each and every year, and 2019 is no exception.
A little more attractive to newcomers, MLB The Show 19 is an immersive simulation that shines with a dazzling atmosphere, a great gameplay ans some good content. But if you have been playing the former iteration ,you'll probably think it's more of the same.

Whether you are a competitive player, career mode player, or franchise simulator, MLB The Show 19 has something for you. As an added bonus for online players, opening day servers have been running smoothly as well!
MLB The Show 19 continues to reinvent the game of baseball. A handful of additions, along with tweaks to existing modes, make for an excellent entry in this long-running franchise, one that shouldn't be missed by newcomers and long-time fans alike.
MLB The Show 19 doesn’t appear all that enticing on paper, but step up to the plate and its gameplay is still pretty much unparalleled.
For all the complaints that I have about this year’s installment of MLB The Show, it’s still easily the most comprehensive and gratifying sports title on the market.
PS4's MLB The Show 19 continues the series' upward trajectory with significant improvements to fielding and plenty of enjoyable new modes.
MLB The Show 19 has easily the sharpest baseball gameplay in years and is a clear improvement over its predecessors. The on-field product is tremendous, and feels both varied and rewarding. It is a must-have for series newcomers, longtime veterans, and even fans who have skipped a year or two. Franchise mode did not receive the boost that fans were hoping for, but it remains an engaging experience. SIE San Diego Studio has done well to innovate the game and franchise, and I am thrilled to see what the studio puts out next year as well.
If you have any interest in America’s favorite pastime, you owe it to yourself to step up to the plate with MLB The Show 19
MLB The Show 19 it's a solid game and worth the yearly upgrade. The Road to the Show is still fun and there are some nice new additions (the mode "March to October").
