Breakpoint offers initial fun following Ubisoft's open-world structure as gospel, but a lack of variety and conflicting pieces leave it devoid of personality.

While there is no lack of stuff to do — story missions, side quests, and faction missions, not to mention the multiplayer PvP Ghost Wars suite which is the marquee feature for many players — not all of it is engaging and most all of it has been done before and better, not only by other shooters but by other games in the Ghost Recon franchise.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint proves adding more isn’t always better, with the addition of half-baked loot and survival mechanics that don’t really provide anything of note to the game.

Ghost recon: Breakpoint is an ambitious sequel with so much innovation, and it actually does a great job in terms of narrative and main quest missions. But most of those changes are nothing but disasters. Meanwhile, I suffered a huge number of bugs all the time during the playthrough. Ubisoft should do better next time.

A muddled game that trips over itself by implementing mechanics from various genres, but never fully expands on their potential.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is an awesome time to be had...The amount of content in this game is quite insane, but it’s great for those who like to have more to do than just the linear story.

Breakpoint as the newest version of Ghost Recon failed to defend its legacy as it should. A legacy whose effects diminish from version to version and may eventually be forgotten one day. Ubisoft is one of those companies that is trying to inject its successful gaming formula into all of its projects, but the results will not always be successful.

Nothing unusual! Just another amazing game from Ubisoft as most of its games in this generation. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not only one of the best games of this series, but also it is one of the best games in this generation. Some technical issues might annoy players but except from that, you can say that Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a perfect game.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, unfortunately, is not a complete game and obviously needed more development time. Besides that, the in-app purchases ruin the whole concept of the game and brings one of the best tactical shooters in history of video games down to a simple action title.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint could have been a great experience, but it feels lost amidst the many ideas introduces to the formula and the plethora of technical issues that plague the experience.

Breakpoint feels less like a tactical infiltrator and more like all of Ubisoft's other sandboxes.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a great shooter that gets repetitive after a while.

More of the same with some unnecessary missteps, Ghost Recon Breakpoint feels like one step forward, two steps back for the Ubisoft tactical shooter.

Instead of feeling like a sequel, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint fails to improve on anything and delivers a boring sandbox game with little to no reason to keep playing. The fact is, Ubisoft has much better games on the market that deliver not only better open worlds to explore but just better shooters including Division 2 and Wildlands. Trust me, you will have a much more enjoyable time playing the 2017 Ghost Recon game.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint doesn't do anything new but still provides a lot of fun, if you're willing to slow down and play tactically. The game falls short in many areas and doesn't quite keep up with it's competition but shooter and stealth fans will have a blast. Performance issues do hinder the experience and some questionable design choices left me baffled. If you're a huge third-person shooter fan and love open-world games, you wont regret giving it a shot, provided you check your expectations at the door.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint mostly feels like yet another AAA game that was released too soon. However, despite its faults, glitches and an awful push towards microtransactions, there's just enough fun in this open-world tactical shooter to warrant checking it out.

A smudge of systems from other Ubisoft games fail to coalesce - and sometimes are plain crippled - in this weak open world shooter.

Breakpoint measures its successes in stats like user engagement, but I still measure mine in memorable moments, and that’s one area this gargantuan game is not servicing.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint brings us an intense and remarkable shooter that stays halfway in the introduction of innovations with a huge variety of content that will delight lovers of cooperative tactical action.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a game crying out to be more straightforward, more-focused, but instead it's added one more wafer thin gameplay mechanic after another, flying in the face of common sense, and now its bloated frame has exploded because it simply can not hold all that mess in and still function. A dull, frustrating misfire.
