Songbird Symphony Reviews
Songbird Symphony hasn’t uncovered some magical gameplay combination by crossing platforming with rhythm action. However, if you think you’d like to play a good, easy game in that unique space, with some headroom for more advanced music gaming, Joysteak has delivered with style and humour.
Now let's get down to the nitty gritty. Is Songbird Symphony worth adding to your collection? If you're a fan of these genres and enjoy niche little games, my answer is yes. The story is cute yet predictable, the puzzle solving fun, and the rhythm challenging. You can finish the game, discover all of the secrets, and claim that platinum trophy in under six hours if you're purely looking to add to your trophy count. Either way, for a game under $20, that's really not a bad deal.
Songbird Symphony is one of the best games I have played this year. It came from no-where and melted my heart. It's a fantastic blend of several genres that is truly unique. It's a fun, easy-going musical adventure with a touching story. The art style and music is to die for and I cannot find any faults with it whatsoever. I want to play it for the first time all over again.
In trying to be so many things at once, Songbird Symphony never truly succeeds at any of them. This is far from a deal breaker, however, as the game is an enjoyable and unique combination of elements. This mix is then paired with the adorable protagonist, funny writing with a lot of childish puns, and a bouncy soundtrack to create possibly the most wholesome game this year.
undefined. The game is on the shorter side, I finished it in about five hours, but it was the perfect amount of time to deliver the full story Songbird Symphony set out to tell. Extra tasks are kept short, simple, and to the point, eliminating long, tedious errands or lengthy trips back and forth between worlds. From beginning to end, the game is set up like a story, with fun characters to meet along the way, an intriguing mystery, entertaining dialogue, and the heartfelt determination of Birb.
Songbird Symphony is a well-done rhythm game with adorable graphical style and animations, ear-catching soundtrack and a challenging gameplay. However, some varieties in rhythm battles, along with a lack of a map for better navigation in platforming sections, might lead to some frustrations; especially for the lesser experienced players in this genre

At around ten hours of play, Birb's little goodnatured fairytale of acceptance and tolerance is hard to criticise. It is a truly beautiful game, and a confident, well-meaning and refreshingly positive use of the videogame medium by talented newcomers. The money might be in the AAA fetish shooters, but the heart, soul and future value of games is wrapped up in projects like this one.
If you're not turned off by Songbird Symphony's lack of challenge then it's sure to provide plenty of lighthearted entertainment.
If you're on the look out for a title with a wholesome story, cute looks, a great soundtrack, and a mix of puzzle platforming and rhythm game elements you've really lucked out with Songbird Symphony since it manages to check all of those boxes...
It's a feel good time; light on the wallet, time commitment, and difficulty, but filled with adorable moments and charm.
Imagine if you can enjoy both the rhythm and metrovania style games in one? They made it possible with Songbird Symphony. The game features characters with luscious graphics and beautiful storytelling to back it up. Although there are action packed sequences, the visuals aren't as violent as it seems, which makes it the perfect game for gamers of all ages.

An engrossing, challenging, and colorful experiment that blends both platforming and rhythm gaming, and does so beautifully, with style to spare.
If you're looking for something different and enjoy platforming, puzzles and rhythm games, SongBird Symphony is for you! Each new area and species of bird you meet has its own soundtrack as well as fun and entertaining song-battle for you to take part within. I couldn't help myself from singing along, cheering for our small protagonist's achievements, becoming heartbroken when bad things happen, and cheering him on when all hope was lost. I've not been this emotionally attached to a video game for a while, I wanted to step into the game and give Birb a massive hug and never let go.
Songbird Symphony is a simple title aimed at the younger audience that offers a slightly infantile story that tries to offer moral lessons and beautiful environments and worlds. Veteran gamers probably won't be challenged very much, but even they could enjoy the excellent musical numbers.

Songbird Symphony is a fantastic game for all ages. Birb is my favorite new game character of 2019.
A solid first-time attempt from Joysteak Studios, Songbird Symphony is a lighthearted, well, symphony of spectacular aesthetics, an endearing narrative, and simple, fun gameplay.
