Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered Reviews
While Ni no Kuni : Wrath of the White Witch remains intact, and thus only gains mobility on Nintendo Switch, the PS4 and PC versions reveal subtle visual details from this truly magical piece of art. A great, classic JRPG, in every sense of the words, hereby presented through its ultimate rendition.

I had fun with Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered, but I found myself knocking it down to easy so I could just hit things without thinking too hard, and going through the more compelling sights and sounds without having to dive into a bunch of clumsy systems I didn’t enjoy engaging with.
Ni No Kuni is the same game on the Switch as it was on PS3, with the added benefit of portability and an overall more stable experience.
Ni No Kuni is a timeless masterpiece of a JRPG. The only reason to not own it is if the JRPG genre is just not your cup of tea. But if it is, you’ve got up to 100 hours of engaging game ahead of you, and those hours will not be forgotten.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch hits all the high notes. It's a great JRPG, but it also transports you into an interactive Studio Ghibli world. The art and sound is directly that of Studio Ghibli. Careful production and planning went into this and it shows. It's easily one of the best out there. The Nintendo Switch is quickly becoming the one-stop RPG machine and this is one of the top recommendations. Many games in the genre can keep your attention, but seldom do you get one to entertain you like this one. It has that magic. Studio Ghibli: The RPG, developed by veteran Level-5.
6 years after its original release, Ni No Kuni Remastered is still a beautiful J-RPG with great music and a moving story, that looks incredible in 4K resolution.

If you’re at all intrigued by Ni No Kuni, I’d strongly advise you to just go and play Revenant Kingdom instead. It’s a far more enjoyable JRPG than Wrath of the White Witch, and it won’t make you feel like snapping your keyboard in two out of a white-hot fury of your own
Despite its age and a sequel, Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered holds itself high above the competition thanks to an amazing mix of design, music and story.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is the same beautiful game you remember from 2013, but with a fresh coat of paint and on a couple new platforms.
Thanks to one of Bandai Namco’s best localization efforts and the fantastic work of both Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is still a joy to experience almost a decade after it was originally released.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered doesn't reinvent the original, but that wasn't really needed anyway. What you get here is a visually enhanced port of what was already an amazing JRPG full of charm, wit, and character.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch arrives on Switch, bringing its magical, colorful adventure to life on the console.
Playing Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch handheld was still inherently delightful, getting to enjoy its world, characters, and presentation again. I was likewise swept away by the gorgeous orchestral score, and I would relive the emotional tenacity of the game’s messages on childlike empathy.
We would have liked more new content and a more affordable price tag, but this Remastered version of Ni No Kuni makes a timeless classic available in 4K and for a new generation of gamers.

If I had to describe Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered in one word, it would be "magical". The game truly takes the player to a new world of exploration and discovery as you experience it through the eyes of a boy determined to fight for the ones he loves.
