Terminator Resistance is a mediocre title. Gunplay in not so bad, but the game looks old and never offers engaging or exciting moments. Fun for a couple of hours and nothing more.

Terminator Resistance: Complete Edition ticks a lot of boxes, the story of what happens post-Judgement Day fills in some of the gaps left by James Cameron’s original works and the first few levels where you are stalked by the machines are absolutely brilliant. It’s unfortunate that the game quickly becomes a by-the-numbers shooter with its baffling AI, bland environments and dull gameplay. The included DLC does help matters a little, with the Infiltrator Mode being a short-lived highlight, but unless you’re a diehard Terminator fan, it’s probably not for you.

If you love the franchise as I do, there is some fun to be had in Terminator: Resistance, just go in with low expectations

More than just being really easy, Terminator: Resistance is also very short. Even when completing most of the side-quests, expect to negotiate the entire experience in less than 10 hours.

If you’re a fan of the Terminator franchise and are after a single-player experience that lets you faithfully enter its world, you won’t be disappointed with Terminator: Resistance.

If you're a fan of the Terminator movies, there is some appeal here, even if only a little. There are even a few nods to moments from the films - like the lorry from the chase in Terminator 2 - and the mid 80s / early 90s version of future tech that appears adds to the nostalgia boost. Despite the different endings you can unlock, it's unlikely that you'll go back and replay it unless you really loved the experience.

Terminator Resistance is a good idea poorly executed. Poor in the visual, it has mechanics that don't surprise despite having good stealth phases and elements from various genres. Its original story and its good atmosphere will please to fans of the franchise, but little else.

A pretty decent game, at least for what we were expecting, but it doesn't stand out in any aspect. Fans of the Terminator franchise will enjoy the story, characters and setting, but there are similar and better games in the market right now.

Do you remember infamous Rambo: The Video Game that was published in 2014? Maybe you will be suprised but the same creators from Teoyn decided to make a game with another cult classic 80's movies ip. Unlike the previous game, Terminator Resistance is not a rail shooter. Is full fledged semi open game with story set in a future knowned from James Cameron's Terminator 1 and 2. It has own flaws. Story is not engaging and gamapley surely lacks of depth but game as a whole is not that bad. Maybe is also not the best but still playable and quite good if you not have anything to play at the moment or you are huge Terminator fan.

Terminator: Resistance doesn't do much new, and it doesn't do much well, either. It's lagging in almost every department, yet when you put it all together, it's a charming relic that may just surprise you.

Terminator: Resistance doesn't go down in history as technical masterpiece, as expected but it still delivers a good portion of entertainment if you can live with a lot of shortcomings. If you are looking for a fast platinum trophy or a short fast paced action shooter experience you can still take a look at this despite the terrible technical implementation.

This average shooter still managed to become the best Terminator game out there. All thanks to Teyon love and respect to the original films.

Terminator: Resistance is reminiscent of the days when tie-in games were released with practically every action movie. It's playable, but it's forgettable. It's fun to get your chance to shoot Terminators in the face and see John Connor being John Connor (instead of the mess he became in the various sequels), but beyond that, there's not much to recommend it. If you're a die-hard Terminator fan who is eager for a chance to visit the future of the original movies, then it might be worth a go. It's difficult to recommend for anyone else, though.

A typical licensed title with quirks and sluggish game elements that can stay afloat thanks to some emotional moments.

Terminator: Resistance is the kind of shooter-meets-RPG hybrid you've seen a dozen times before, and isn't a particularly impressive one. But everything it does, it does well enough to pass. I can't bring myself to hate Terminator: Resistance, I think it's a fun, cheesy game, but I also wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I recommended that anyone bought it at full price.

Terminator: Resistance shows a bunch of potential, even if it doesn't always meet it. I was happily surprised with deeper than expected progression, and great dialogue and relationship building. But playing the game I feel stuck in the past, with visuals from yesteryear meeting good but standard gunplay. The worst part is watching the newest piece, the Annihilation Line DLC, take a step back. The Wolfenstein series does better in this sub-genre, but Terminator: Resistance is still a lot of fun to play, which says something about where it could go if Teyon gets another shot.

After the abberration that Rambo: The Video Game was, Teyon delivered Terminator: Resistance – not just a "cool game" in and of itself, but also the best Skynet-themed game to date. Destroying terminators is really satisfying and I’m certain that this game will be one of the biggest surprises of 2019 to some shooter lovers out there .

Terminator Resistance is a surprise in many ways, and a pleasant surprise. It sees the light in parallel with the new canonical installment in the cinema but it travels in opposite ways. Although the film establishes a new future that has not satisfied the majority, many of whom believe that it works better as an action film than as a installment of the saga, Terminator Resistance by contrast brings us into that future announced in the first installments, and although it works as an independent game to the setting, it works much better as a Terminator game giving it a plus of enjoyment for all lovers of the saga.

I really enjoyed playing Terminator: Resistance. I am a huge fan of the Terminator series and I was extremely keen on playing this. I must admit, there isn’t much to say in terms of things that were difficult or that annoyed me during my time in Terminator: Resistance. There was one thing the fact you couldn’t jump over fences, or climb up walls which did irritate me, but that’s it. I particular liked one mission where your in a hospital, where you had to stealthily sneak around all the t800s without getting caught, and there were quite a few of them. It was hard, and it felt I was trying not to breath just to try and be that extra quiet, because getting caught resulted in pure annihilation. I wish the first half of the game had MORE of a Terminator feel though, because if you take away the machines you see, then you wouldn’t know what game your playing. The 2nd half of the game was really good, the closer you got to the ending the better it got. I was kind of sad when I did complete it mind. I really loved the interaction with John Connor, I felt it was great having a distant relationship with the iconic character that all us fans love, I just wish Arnie was in Terminator: Resistance too (ha wishful thinking). This is a must play for all Terminator fans!!! Terminator: Resistance receives the Thumb Culture Gold Award
