The Last Autumn reinvigorates the engrossing core loop of Frostpunk with intelligent iterations on its objectives and new laws to fully exploit.
Frostpunk: The Last Autumn DLC takes everything you have learned while playing through the brutality of the base game and tweaks the formula just enough to bring you a new feeling of dread, loss, and despair while remaining true to the brilliant mechanics and narrative of the game.
Frostpunk: The Last Autumn has a promising concept and setting, but it fails to do enough differently to justify the toil. If these are the people you're trying to save, you might as well let the world freeze over.
The Last Autumn is new but difficult. With more challenges to overcome and new systems to wrestle with, The Last Autumn manages to capture the exact same feeling of Frostpunk without feeling like it's rehashing old ground.
Hard decisions and consequences may await you in Frostpunk: The Last Autumn, but it' a gorgeous experience with greener pastures that'll still hook players in with an addictive loop of management in the face of extinction.
Much like the original Frostpunk game, this is a ridiculously tough, but rewarding challenge of a game.
Overall, this is a game that is made for its fans and crowd.
The Last Autumn is the largest expansion of Frostpunk and it renews nearly everything ranging from buildings, technology to exploration and laws. You even can regard it as a brand new game. However, the ending is still as awkward as usual and it may ruin your mood.

A fantastic addition to the base game with great detail in both the story and the visuals. If you are a lover or fan of the game already, This expansion is definitely for you.
