Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris Reviews
With an expansive main campaign that takes far too long to get started and quite a few underdeveloped mechanics, this Sword Art game is a tough sell for anyone but the most dedicated fans.
Truthfully, the only kind of person I can recommend this game to is a diehard Sword Art Online superfan who has never played a JRPG (or honestly, any other video game) in their life and therefore has no basis to compare the trainwreck that is Alicization Lycoris to anything else that has substance. Otherwise, just watch the anime. Or play a different game.
A game developed without thinking neither in the fans of the franchise nor the fans of video games, it has so much problems to be able to recommend it.

Between the elongated dull story, the boring and monotonous gameplay, and frequent and in your face technical issues there is little to redeem Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. Fans of the franchise will want to avoid it, and those interested in a bad game won't even be able to get a laugh out of it.
If you’re a huge Sword Art Online fan, or are simply after an expansive JRPG to sink your teeth into, you will get some enjoyment out of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris.

However, the pacing is agonizingly slow and has unforgivable tecnical issues. Sadly, it's only recomended for fans of the series or players with máximum patience.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a disappointingly dull action game.
An enjoyable RPG with some pacing issues, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a lot of fun once you get to grips with its combat and leveling systems. The decision to lock multiplayer behind 10 hours of content is baffling, but once you unlock it you'll have a good time exploring the MMO-like world with friends.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris tries to experiment with too many different mechanics without making them too compelling, and that's hampered by a lackluster technical production. It's anyway got a good basis, and SAO fans will definitely appreciate its depiction of the anime's universe and the huge levels of fan service present.

At the current state of the game, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this to anyone looking to buy it. This is mainly due to all the flaws it currently has. Even if you’re a big fan of the series, I’d advise you to wait until the game is adequately patched before making the purchase.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a great combination for anime lovers and fans of fast-paced role-playing games. The variety of weapons in the game are very good and the game has a lot to offer. With a rich world and multiplayer section, the underworld experience is lovely. However, many technical glitches, poor side quests, and poor auto-save system sometimes damage the gaming experience.

Not ever did I think the game was downright bad or poorly made, but rarely was I taken or impressed by anything going on from a story or gameplay perspective.
The original arcs that are told exclusively within Lycoris only gentrify admiration told within its the overall narrative told in this virtual world of constant chaos. My love for Sword Art Online will remain firm, and Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris resuscitates its stimulus to create an incredible gaming chapter for this marvelous franchise.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycaris offers a compelling experience, but only forgiving players will ever get to fully enjoy it. Others may be frustrated by its strange design flaws.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a more "exclusive" game for fans of the saga, although of course, everyone can enjoy it in the same way; but he should have the minimum knowledge of the characters and the plot. Unlike previous installments, in this one it does not "refresh your memory" and omit the different important events that have been happening until we reach where we are today.

A broken mess in almost every way. Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris doesn't deliver on it's promised product. With so many technical issues it's hard to imagine anyone with the patience to get through the game. Alicization Lycoris should have been the crowning achievement in a beloved franchise but instead, it ends up being the worst title in the Sword Art Online franchise.
