There are simply far better options available than Will Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town, and as such this cannot be recommended as anything near to the best the console offers.

An interesting, but too short, adventure about a kid searching for hi lost dad. A very good tribute to classic LucasArts games from a promising studio. Unfortunately the ending of the game is somehow rushed, with linear progression and simplified puzzles and situations.

Willy Morgan and The Curse of Bone Town is a simple title with a well-intentioned premise. Despite its cast of colorful characters and relatively interesting narrative, it really struggles to find its stride and unfortunately feels like its potential is squandered by both the undercooked game and sound design.

Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town would've been a decent game if it had come out in the nineties, but as one that chose to be released in 2020, it only serves as a reminder of how far games have come in the past thirty years.

Perhaps I don't appreciate it as it should, but I found this game a woeful yawn-fest. If you want a slow-paced mystery filled lateral-thinking inventory collect-a-thon; this might be up your alley. But if you want thrills and spills and any level of endorphin promoting action; save your time and your money.

All in all, I had a ton of fun with Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town. This is an excellent game you can play to pass the time, have a delightful experience, or you just feel nostalgic and want to play a game that will remind you of simpler times. Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Tone is a soulful, wholesome, hilarious, and satisfying experience.

The point-and-click adventure has been around since roughly forever and the sort of renaissance the genre has enjoyed over the past few years, care of indie developers, has thoroughly proven it can still have legs...

Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town succeeds in bringing nostalgia and a great, humorous tribute to point-and-click adventure gamers from the golden age of PC adventure gaming, and does so with an elegant and accessible level design, and in dialogue with a contemporary urban setting. On the other hand, due to its brevity, lack of design originality, ingenuity in puzzles and even its narrative simplicity, it is far from being a modern work with greater personality in the point-and-click genre.

Willy Morgan is a wonderful throwback of a game that will appeal to those looking for a piece of their past as a nostalgic trip, as well as those breaking into the point and click adventure scene. With puzzles that don't make you want to flip tables, a clearly defined cast of characters, and some well done visuals, Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town is definitely a title that can show its potential. The ending set up the possibility of a sequel, and I can tell you now I would love to see this series take off with more title to its name.

With one foot in the classics, and one foot in the modern era, and a plethora of fun and witty puzzles, Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town is worth your time. It’s just a shame it’s such a short amount of time.

Despite any hangups mentioned, Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town aimed for a Monkey Island-shaped moon and landed among the stars in the immediate vicinity. In terms of puzzles, the Bone Town level is bar none one of the best point-and-click designs I’ve played in modern memory, and the storyline is straight outta pirate-filled nostalgia. It’s held back by some design choices and perhaps the length, but the game itself is certainly a solid experience to be proud of.

Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town is a traditional graphic adventure inspired by Monkey island that leaves a good taste in the mouth in almost all its sections. With a fairly good dubbing and its striking visual style, we will have a fresh and fun adventure ahead of us that we will end up liking.
