Much like Spider-Man (2018)’s excellent launch on PC back in August, Miles Morales is another fantastic PC version of a previous PlayStation exclusive. Next year we’re anticipating The Last of Us Part 1 (the remake version) will make its way to PC and likely God of War Ragnarök at some point, but I also hope we see some older PlayStation titles such as the earlier Uncharted games. I just hope the gap of time between the release of Spider-Man 2 planned on console and its PC version is not as long as the four years between the original game and its PC release.

In the end, Insomniac did well to capitalize on the success of Miles Morales in the movies. We are dealing here with a more concise and engaging adventure than the one featuring Peter Parker. It may be that the same activities are repeated mission after mission, but the sense of freedom that comes from swinging between skyscrapers alone is worth it. We also appreciate the developers' restraint in the side quests and tasks by avoiding trivia. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is, in other words, excellent entertainment that deserves to be played for the first or second time.

Starring one of the most charismatic heroes of Casa das Ideias, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is another excellent game from Sony to successfully migrate to the PC. Don't let yourself be fooled: although it has a smaller scope than its predecessor and innovates little in terms of gameplay, quality is not lacking in this cinematic adventure. In addition, its competent adaptation for personal computers is a more than perfect appetizer for the sequel that is approaching next year.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a shorter yet excellent follow-up to the excellent original game, and so is the PC port.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an improvement over the previous game on almost every front. Strong enough to stand on its own, with a shorter but more focused narrative.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an action game in which we will control the rookie hero Miles Morales, in his story to save the world from the terrorist group Underground and from anyone who wants to take control of New York City. A fun and engaging game that will keep you glued to the screen from start to finish, with amazing graphics, if there are no bugs, and a soundtrack to accompany the adventure.

The love and care that has clearly been put into this and the previous title can be felt the whole way through. I am so glad that the PC fan base can now experience the charm this game offers.

Marvel's Spiderman: Miles Morales arrives shortly after the port of the previous installment to PC, and it does so with the same technical improvements. This autoplayable expansion puts us in the shoes of a different Spiderman, who is learning the trade, and for around 8 hours it will give us practically more of the same, as expected in an expansion, which in this case is more than enough. Perhaps it would have been nice if Sony's releases, this one included, had a physical version -that is, with a box and disc, although it must be associated with Steam or Epic-, or if, since it can only be purchased digitally, perhaps they could have adjusted the price for an expansion is better, something that each user should value.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is wonderfully optimized for PC and manages to be appreciated with its wide selection of visuals. The only question that remains in mind is whether this game deserves the same price as Marvel's Spider-Man.

As was the case with its big brother, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a flawless port to the PC platform, performing exceptionally well even on a mid-range system.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is thankfully not an origin story, as that was handled expertly in the previous game. So what we get here is a fun and exciting game that just jumps right in without the painfully slow ramp-up that other games fall victim to. Once again Insomniac offers a refreshing take on the open-world game that’s never dull to engage with any and all of its systems. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a massive achievement, showing that lightning can strike twice.

Whether you’re anxious to swing back into Insomniac’s Spidey universe, dig into an absorbing, standalone superhero tale, or see what all those horses beneath the PlayStation 5’s hood are capable of, Miles Morales fits the bill like spandex.

Even so, Spider-Man: Miles Morales tells an intimate, emotionally resonant superhero story about a young hero trying to live up to the role models that inspired him and do right by the community that supports him. The subtle marriage of gameplay progression to themes helps make the story that much more engrossing. The boss fights could be more impressive, and the side content can, at times, feel perfunctory. But the game is fun, poignant, and powerful all the same. Spider-Man fans should be swinging high while playing.

Spider-Man Miles Morales makes good on the first game’s tagline to “be greater.” It features a snappy, emotionally fulfilling story occupied by characters that feel real and is anchored by a perfect protagonist, has perfectly refined combat complete with new abilities, and makes the little things meaningful. It perfectly toes the line between fan-service and fulfilling storytelling, and it’s one of my favorite gaming experiences of the year. It’s also a game that’s unapologetically itself. It doesn’t fix what isn’t broken while streamlining and adding other elements to create a near-perfect gaming experience. From its young and diverse cast to its hip-hop inspired soundtrack, this game carves its own path and cements itself as one of the best launch titles in recent memory. Leave some space for the new guy, indeed.

Although Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is only a spin-off, it still delivered a great multitude of high-quality content and features which makes this an almost perfect game.

Spider-Man Miles Morales improves on the original in many ways thanks to the new hardware, amazing story, and characters. Being a bit shorter actually improves the pace, while the music gives Miles' adventure a unique style and personality.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is in every way better than its predecessor. It’s a fun and heart wrenching story, which is made better thanks to it being more concise. It’s fun to play, fantastic to watch, and a cracking story.

Another great ‘Spider-man game’ for those who know what I’m talking about. Technically, the game itself is a spin-off from the original so there aren’t too many elements that are to be deemed as improvements, but it kept all the positive technicalities and successfully debuted the new Spider-man, Miles Morales.

Short AAA games aren't a rare sight nowadays, and there is always an argument to be had when comparing their value versus meatier AAA titles. Given the rise in development costs and the industry’s tendencies towards focusing on presentation and storytelling, I wouldn’t be surprised if studios would begin a similar trend of developing more short-but-sweet open-world games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

The experience is further enhanced by a good story, even better side content, and solid combat – that does Miles justice as a great hero in his own right. At £49 the price is on the steeper side for the volume of the game’s content, but if you have the chance, this game is still a must play. I still can’t get over how amazing the haptic feedback is.
