Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Reviews
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury once again proves that Nintendo is the master of platformers. Even though the Super Mario 3D World was initially released for Wii U, it is still superior to most platformers out there. Bowser's Fury is also an excellent addition. It has some minor flaws, but the overall experience is delightful. There are some minor problems in the Co-op part, but, all and all, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a must-buy for anyone loving platformers or having a Nintendo Switch.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury isn’t perfect, but it gets close. The gameplay is superb, the visuals are improved on Switch, and there is so much to do and see that players will be busy for hours. Switch has been a godsend for software that didn’t get the shot it deserved on Wii U, and 3D World is definitely a game that more people should play. Online multiplayer is a tad lacking, but if you’re out for an expertly crafted, stunning platformer, this is the premier Mario game on the console.
Whilst this isn't a game that represents great value, it's still excellent fun. Bowser's Fury is a nice, if a little short, addition to a game which didn't get the attention it deserved due to the failure of the Wii U.
The new release for Super Mario 3D World is literally two games at the price of one, Mario 3D World is still one of the best 3D Platformers to try.. And with the addition of Bowser's Fury that gives you a completely new experience + enjoyment, in My opinion one of the best releases from Nintendo, what a way to celebrate Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is one of the best Mario games to date. Brimming with creativity and style, it captures so much of what makes Mario fun without feeling as familiar as New Super Mario Bros. or Odyssey. It's a little less polished than Odyssey but makes up for that with a constant barrage of new and enjoyable levels. Bowser's Fury is a significantly better add-on than Pikmin 3's bonus levels, and while it can't carry the game on its own, it's a strong addition to the package. If you're a fan of Mario, then 3D World is the game for you. Be prepared for the multiplayer to be as good at killing friendships as Mario Party.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is the best platformer we did ever play. It was already a great game, and Bowser's experimental world made it even better.

Super Mario 3D World is one of the best platformers ever. Period. It is a formidable testament in creative level design that shows everything a Mario Bros. game should be. Bowser's Fury is an interesting experiment that tries to take the 3D World engine into an open world. The result is fun, but lacks the polish that made 3D World a classic. A must own game for Switch owners.

If you've never played 3D World before or haven't touched it since the Wii U days, this is well worth the price of admission. Prospects get a little tougher if you're not interested in going through 3D World, because while Bowser's Fury is amazing, it's still approximately less than 10 hours of gameplay even if you do everything. But no matter what: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury might be one of the strongest Mario games available on Switch. The base game is fun and varied, while Bowser's Fury offers a distinctive, inventive, and superb open-world 3D Mario experience.
An exceptional first release for Nintendo in 2021
Super Mario 3D World may not have had much added to it aside from an online function that is limited to only saving progress for the host, but it didn't necessarily need much else. Nintendo successfully found a way to evolve the 2D classics without going open world, and the result is one of the most consistently fresh and enjoyable games around, which, despite lacking the challenge of the NES games, has something for just about everyone. The bonus Bowser's Fury solo adventure is an absolute delight with a brilliant core idea that adds a crazy tension to Mario platforming, but it is hard to present a case for purchasing this pack just to play it. Whilst full of great content, it is too short-lived to feel worth the asking price, and really needs a standalone purchase option. When taking both games into account for those that have not played the original Wii U title, though, this is a cracking bundle of Mario goodness that encapsulates what everyone knows and still loves about the moustachioed hero after an enduring thirty-five years.
Super Mario 3D World is an excellent game so if you still haven't played it or simply want it on Switch, this will make a wonderful addition to your gaming library. Oh, and you also get a fantastic bonus game with Bowser's Fury so how could you go wrong?
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is an excellent package. Between the two games, players will find a lot to enjoy. Super Mario 3D World remains one of the best Mario games ever made, and Bowser's Fury is a tantalizing glimpse at a possible future for the franchise. The latter mode only lasts a few short hours, but it's an excellent addition, nonetheless. Whether you want to play alone or with friends, this is one Wii U port that's more than worth the cost of admission.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a collection that makes it impossible not to praise him. 3D World, with its immense quantity, quality and variety of content, confirms its status as the best level platformer currently on the market.

One of the best Wii U games makes a seamless transition to the Nintendo Switch. The addition of Bowser’s Fury gives even more life to this game, although alone may not be enough to tempt Wii U owners to re-buy the game. While the mandatory Star Coin collecting can be aggravating as it brings you to a standstill on occasion the rest of the game is an amazing and fun experience that we will be playing for months to come.
The overall package is saved by the base 3D World game still being fun to play, especially with friends. I don’t recommend buying this game just to play Bowser’s Fury since you can 100% the game in under five hours, and it isn’t as solid of an experience as I expected from a Mario game. If you’ve never played Super Mario 3D World, then this is a great game to fill a weekend or even play online with strangers— but there are plenty of better Mario experiences on the Switch, though.
I’d highly recommend either of Super Mario 3D World or Bowser’s Fury, but when you put them together in the same package, you have a fantastic value. Players who missed Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U should run out and pick this one up. It’s one of the best games available on the Switch. Even those who played it many years ago will find a lot to like in Bowser’s Fury’s different take on the Mario formula. If you still haven’t checked this one out, there’s no time like the present.
By itself, 3D World is a game absolutely crucial for any Super Mario fan, and having it on such an appealing platform as the Switch is hard evidence that the hardware does matter. With Bowser’s Fury and little updates like online play, it makes this the definitive way to play one of Nintendo’s biggest and best individual platformers.
While Bowser’s Fury is an impressive addition to 3D World, it will barely clock in any more than 6 hours of playthrough which in this reviewers opinion, really doesn’t justify double-dipping. I wouldn’t say 3D World is an inferior Mario title but it is absolutely standing in the shadows of its bigger bros.
Super Mario 3D World already was a great game worth buying, but with the online coop and Bowser's Fury, it justifies another purchase on the Switch. The game looks and feels great, even with four players. It also brings a bit of a challenge for anyone trying to find all secrets but stays accessible for kids who just want to play. Bowser's Fury on the other hand feels a bit short and lacks a worthy coop. Still, this content is great to play, but don't expect a full adventure.
