To anyone who has ever played a Mario game, be it alone or with friends. I encourage you to pick this one up. It is truly wonderful and I guarantee you will be transported back into a state of childlike glee. I haven’t laughed this hard whilst playing a game with my friends for a very long time. It is definitely the pick me up everyone deserves.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a fantastic package that any Mario fan should own. Super Mario 3D World might not be the most unique Mario, but it sure is fun. With Bowser's Fury as an extra mode, it's a smash hit.

There are few titles that can give four players in the same room the huge rush of Super Mario 3D World. The improvements in the Switch version are few, but appreciated. In addition, these changes the game to such an extent that even veterans should play it. The extra game Bowser's Fury is the icing on the cake and gives you a playful open world sandbox where proven moments meet new elements. The result is simply a complete package of pure platform entertainment.

Once again, Mario and his friends Princess Peach, Toad, and (THE BEST BROTHER) Luigi are enjoying themselves when they spot a strange tube that looks like it is in ill repair. Mario and Luigi fix the pipe and low and behold a faery comes out and warns the group that series baddie Bowser is holding her people hostage. Of course, after warning the group of what is going on, Bowser appears and steals the faery. The dynamic group then jumps into the tube and thus that is the beginning of this adventure.

In a way, Bowser's Fury's restraint in world design and simplicity actually puts it more directly in line with 3D World than Odyssey, feeling like its true successor, but settling for this halfway step between them due to how it was released. Regardless of how both titles were delivered, I'm absolutely delighted with 3D World and fascinated at what a fuller title in the vein of Bowser's Fury might look like. Here's hoping we see more like both of these standout Mario titles sooner rather than later.

Bowser’s Fury is a short but sweet addition to the classic Wii U title that adds one angry Koopa king and a more open-world approach to the game. Whether it’s worth re-buying 3D World once again depends on how much you value four extra hours of new gameplay — perhaps a few more extra if you try to get every hidden collectible. For Mario fans who have never experienced the original Wii U game, however, getting Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is pretty much a no-brainer.

Super Mario 3D World on the Nintendo Switch is the definitive version of an already stellar game. More than seven years after the original release, Mario's Wii U adventure hasn't aged a bit – oozing creativity and providing platforming thrills at nearly every turn. Bowser's Fury is a nice little companion, and although not quite as consistent, it combines with 3D World to form an outstanding package.

Overall, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is still a great game. While it does have some flaws, this two-for-one package is still very worthwhile. It’s unfortunate that the online multiplayer limits progress to the host player, but it’s still fun for quick sessions. Even if the length of Bowser’s Fury is somewhat underwhelming, it’s a fun experience that makes for a cool experiment.

Super Mario 3D World was already one of the best 3D Mario games to date. Toss in some tweaks and a decent-sized expansion with new ideas and this package is a no-brainer. There is little to complain about with this latest Mario title on Switch. It is yet another must-own game for the platform. I am excited to see where Mario goes next and this is a perfect end to the 35th anniversary celebration of gaming’s first and oldest icon.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury once again proves that Nintendo is the master of platformers. Even though the Super Mario 3D World was initially released for Wii U, it is still superior to most platformers out there. Bowser's Fury is also an excellent addition. It has some minor flaws, but the overall experience is delightful. There are some minor problems in the Co-op part, but, all and all, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a must-buy for anyone loving platformers or having a Nintendo Switch.

After seeing the criticism, some of it even being our own, on how lazily put together the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection was last fall, I’m stoked that Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury ended up delivering me as much fun as it did. I went ahead and pre-ordered the day before release to be able to pre-download and start immediately at midnight, and I think I sat there and made it to world six by 5am, collecting a good chunk of the stars and stamps along the way. I was hooked for a solid 3 days straight, finishing it before the weekend ended, but that’s okay because I spent 20 hours total and loved every minute of it. Whether you played through the original release or not, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is worth the price of admission and deserves a spot in your Switch library, offering up a nice trip back to a great Wii U release that most didn’t get to enjoy, and a stellar side addition that could have been so much more had it released alongside Odyssey as some DLC or an Expansion Pass.

Super Mario 3D World is about as close to perfect as you can get with a Mario game, and the fact that it features online multiplayer makes it even better, but what really makes the package worth the $60 is the fact that you have one of the best Mario titles with a new game thrown in.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a game that every Switch owner needs to get their hands on, especially if they’ve been a longtime Mario and Nintendo fan. Pairing the base game with the new Bowser’s Fury expansion creates a phenomenal blend of 2D platforming from a 3D perspective. It allows the player to further explore these mechanics in a more open-world environment while portraying Bowser in a new light.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is an excellent package. Between the two games, players will find a lot to enjoy. Super Mario 3D World remains one of the best Mario games ever made, and Bowser's Fury is a tantalizing glimpse at a possible future for the franchise. The latter mode only lasts a few short hours, but it's an excellent addition, nonetheless. Whether you want to play alone or with friends, this is one Wii U port that's more than worth the cost of admission.

Anyone who missed the original on Wii U, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a must own for their Nintendo Switch library. It may not make a whole lot of sense, but the platforming action is so focused and confidently designed. It is a constant stream of creative ideas and stimulating gameplay that is very hard to put down.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is an excellent collection that offers both tried-and-true and new content. If you played Super Mario 3D World back on the Wii U, you might have a hard time buying it. There are new features, but they are marginal. However, considering that Bowser's Fury is also included in this bundle, you probably won't be able to keep your hands off it if you're a Super Mario fan. Even though this part is only eight hours long, you'll be well entertained throughout the entire game. The open world characteristic is fun and I hope that the next installment will also have a completely open world.

The Wii U might have a bad rap, but anyone who owned one knew how good the Wii U game library was. Hence Nintendo keeps porting Wii U games to the infinitely more popular Nintendo Switch. As someone who owned and played the heck outta the criminally underrated Wii U, this isn’t my first time playing Super Mario 3D World. That was back in 2013, however, this Switch port breathes new life into it and is also bolstered by new addition, Bowser’s Fury. It couldn’t have come at a better time, either, with plenty of people like yours truly needing an injection of joy into their life.

The new release for Super Mario 3D World is literally two games at the price of one, Mario 3D World is still one of the best 3D Platformers to try.. And with the addition of Bowser's Fury that gives you a completely new experience + enjoyment, in My opinion one of the best releases from Nintendo, what a way to celebrate Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a wholly satisfying gameplay experience that offers some of the series’s best multiplayer mayhem. The tweaks might seem minor, but they result in much better execution of an already amazing game. Also, the inclusion of Bowser’s Fury just makes this re-release that much sweeter. You can tell real effort went into this updated version, and it’s one adventure that I appreciated and enjoyed from beginning to end.
