A New God works very well as expanse for Immortals Fenyx Rising intended for players who enjoyed the base game. It doesn't invent anything, but it adds what is just and necessary so that embarking on this new map is worth it. The strengths and weaknesses remain the same.

A New God is set in the Olympus, and presents some of the best puzzles in the genre, but we miss some exploration and it gets repetitive after a couple of hours.

A New God is a worthy expansion of Immortals Fenyx Rising, bringing some new gear and abilities to play with, and some more excellently designed puzzles that challenge the player's knowledge of the game's mechanics in interesting ways. Sadly, the expansion lacks the wealth of activities found in the main campaign, making the new one a little more repetitive in the long run. Still, a worthy purchase for fans of the puzzles seen in the main game.

A New God attempts to capitalize on immortals fenyx rising's excellent ordeal by proposing an expansion almost entirely focused on dungeons and solving puzzles. Set in the frame of Olympus, as colorful as it is inspired, this puzzle series consists of about twenty trials that can put players' skills under pressure, offering a higher level of challenge than we saw in the main adventure. Too bad for the absence of variety due precisely to the desire to focus only on the puzzles, which thus become at the same time cross and delight of this DLC.

Designed for those who want to know what happened to Fenyx after what happened in the main adventure, this DLC does not bring many new features but reaffirms what was done in the base game, thus fulfilling its purpose as an expansion.

In the first major DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising, A New God offers a new area and a bunch of puzzles. Unfortunately, it's far too restricted to offer some of the best parts of the base game

With only a few technical hiccups, Immortals Fenyx Rising: A New God represents a dozen hours of vault-based challenges that will put your platforming and logic skills to the test. If you want more Fenyx Rising but harder, then this expansion is a must-have.

Immortals Fenyx Rising's first piece of DLC, A New God, expands on the complexity of the base game's puzzles, testing the mettle of players but providing only a handful of opportunities for combat, exploration, and story.

If you are someone who enjoyed the puzzles and the dad joke-like humor of Immortals: Fenyx Rising, A New God DLC is for you. The Vaults will challenge your approach to the game mechanics with the addition of new and expanded mechanics. However, if you are not a fan of trials and get easily frustrated, the DLC might be a miserable experience.

A New God is the first DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising, and it adds some extremely tough new challenges to its endgame, even if it's not as compelling as what's to come.

Immortals Fenyx Rising A New God DLC focuses on the trials from the Greek gods but it could be more than just this. The mount from the main game almost got forgotten and the fights get little to no attention. Still, A New God offers 10 hours of extra puzzle-gameplay next to the main game. The puzzles are much more challenging than those in the main game too. Only for this fact, the content is a must-have for puzzle fanatics that wanted more. The fighters will have to wait for the other DLC packs to release.

Those who enjoyed the original game and especially its puzzles, will definitely have fun in the approximately fifteen hours of extra content it offers.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising – A New God offers an enjoyable way to continue Fenyx’s adventure thanks to its clever puzzle design and charming new world. It’ll really test both your puzzling and platforming skills too, with the challenges here easily surpassing those found in the main game as far as difficulty is concerned. Thankfully, none are ever frustrating in design, with the innovative ideas each one brings offering a satisfying sense of triumph upon completion. It’s worth noting that puzzle-solving and platforming is very much at the forefront here though, so those hoping for some challenging combat or deep exploration might be disappointed. There were a few niggles here and there with the physics during some puzzles too, whilst the fact that unlockables don’t carry over to the main game felt like a bit of a missed opportunity. Still, there’s a heck of a lot of content to enjoy in Immortals: Fenyx Rising – A New God and its puzzling-focused romp will certainly be an entertaining one for player to dive into. It might not always hit the satisfying highs of the main game, but it’s still a worthy addition to the world of Immortals: Fenyx Rising.

The season pass provokes a thought that while we're not done with Fenyx and her story just yet, are we prepared for more of this kind of content?

As part of a trio of additional content, A New God is kind of acceptable and it’s a good thing that it feels like a real new content and not just some cut content from the original game but the lack of variety in gameplay and the frustration that stems from the physics based puzzles, make this feel like a step back from the base product.
