In the end, What The Dub?! has only one trick. While that trick can be and is a lot of fun to mess around with, it wears out its welcome a bit too quickly. Although text-to-speech is a great idea and sound effects are a worthy addition, the b-movie clips feel like they're on repeat after a while, and the pacing can leave you in the lurch. I hope that the game can get some additional support, and with some additional footage maybe over time it can improve, but as of now it feels a bit hollow.

What the Dub? is a good party game. Playing with friends and family to dub over B-Movie film clips is short stints of amusement that you can come back to when you tire of the Jack Box experience. It's cheap enough to justify and funny enough to enjoy.

Although the improv gameplay of What the Dub?! is somewhat basic and repetitive, it presents numerous opportunities for MST3K-style hilarity. You don't need to be a fan of movies to enjoy this party game; you just need to be quick-witted (or have funny friends).

What The Dub?! isn’t the sort of game that will keep you entertained for hours on end. But it is the sort of thing you’ll pull out for half an hour at a party or gathering, and have a laugh with. With over 300 movie clips included in the game, it’ll be a while until you start seeing repeats, too. The more ridiculous or rude you get, the more hilarity is likely to ensue. Needless to say, if you’re a fan of Jackbox’s games, then What The Dub?! is worth checking out.

What the Dub is a great little party game in the tradition of the Jackbox series, and it will definitely see a lot of play at my house thanks to my own predilections.

For under ten bucks, you really can’t go wrong with What The Dub?!. The clips offer plenty of opportunity to deliver hilarious and raunchy dialogue while also maintaining the B-movie charm. People at parties will surely have a good time, but streamers will especially have a lot of opportunities with the game. With 300 clips and some imagination, the possibilities are literally endless for this title.

What the Dub?! knows what it wants to be, and it does it well, straight-forward and with very little frills. If you have a friend group that already enjoys the Jackbox series and other quick and easy party games, there’s little reason not to add this one to your rotation.

What The Dub?! is the best party game I've ever played - simple as that. Its core concept is super simple and the execution is easy. The hard part? Being funny enough to make it worth playing, but that's on you.

What The Dub?! takes a simple and enjoyable concept and builds a whole party game from it. There’s no deviation from the premise, for better and and for worse, and the game doesn’t leave a lot of breathing room between rounds. With a few creative jokers to play with though, this game gives you all the tools to have a very fun night in.
