Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager
Top Critic Average
Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager is a return to dungeon games, and we must manage one to eliminate the adventurers. With many different elements, the title is fun and very varied, with few black points. And it's nice, what more could you ask for.

Flipping the dungeon raid on its head, Legend of Keepers is a roguelike-strategy game hybrid that’s worth your time. It might have its tongue firmly pressed to its cheek at times but underneath its irreverent exterior is a deep and engrossing tactical gem. This is once corporate ladder you might want to synergise with.
Legend of Keepers released into early access a little over a year ago, and I liked it. The final version is even better; whenever you see the name Goblinz Studio, you know that regardless of whether they developed or published the game, it’s all about numerous interlocking, straightforward mechanics from which a great deal of complexity can arise. Legend of Keepers is perhaps the best example of this to date.
'Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager' is a dungeon defense game that combines Roguelite, Deck-building and strategic element. It also has random element too. So as a result, the very unique type of game was born.

Legend of Keepers nails the gamblers high of unpredictable randomness while putting the player’s agency at the forefront to actually use that randomness in a meaningful way, that’s the hallmark of a good rogue-lite game.
The game also has plenty of long-term goals. But once I learned more about the monsters and the enemies I found it hard to get excited, even when I got a new powerful creature or when a powerful hero dropped in. Goblinz Studio understands the two genres it is mixing but it should have added a pinch more innovation to make Legend of Keepers into a long-term fun experience.
Accept job of Dungeons Company, protect their dungeons and kill pushy heroes. It is not perfect but funny.

Whilst Legend of Keeper's set up is good, little actual dungeon management and a fairly samey gameplay loop leaves the dungeon feeling a little unexplored.
Playing the boss, in other words the villain, proves a comical, enjoyably cruel, mind crushing experience. The management tasks may become deadly repetitive, since Goblinz Studio's business plan is deliberately lacking some deeper perspective, but Legend of Keepers should deserve the title of the lightest dungeon game, as simple - and good - as that.

Legend of Keepers is a fairly engrossing game with a simple yet fun gameplay loop and glorious gory pixelart.
