Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction Reviews
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is one of the most intense and exciting co-op experiences available today. It's an incredible addition to the Siege universe and one that stands alone as a fantastic demonstration of innovation in an otherwise stagnating genre.
A surprisingly good tactical shooter that reminds of classic Rainbow Six games. Its gameplay faults are easy to fix, and you don't have to guess if it'll have a good post-release support.

Ultimately, Rainbow Six Extraction is a forgettable experience with a solid foundation that will hopefully be built upon in the months and years to come.
The biggest downfall for Rainbow Six Extraction is that it becomes too easy too quickly, and with little control over making the Incursions harder, players may find it mundane. But the handful of unique mechanics spices up the current PvE offerings. And with endgame modes that evolve from week to week, Extraction does promise to keep players engaged.
Despite balance issues and potential repetitiveness, Rainbow Six Extraction offers a fun, well-structured, and challenging experience. Recommended for Rainbow Six fans and those seeking a distinctive PvE experience. Ubisoft's experience could ensure the game's longevity.

Extraction's high difficulty, even on the easiest setting, walks a fine line between alienating casual players and giving hardcore survival fans something to chew on.
Rainbow Six: Extraction manages to deliver a welcoming experience in the cooperative shooter category, differentiating itself from the other games on the market through its tight gunplay, challenges, and enemy encounters.
Rainbow Six Extraction is fun when it leans into its absurd premise, but it also tends to take itself too seriously. Ubisoft apply all the knowledge gained from tweaking Siege's gameplay and it works well in the gameplay department, but it's a bit uninspired in other areas.
Some will hate this game; others will love it. That's how it goes, and in the case of Rainbow Six Extraction, it's all the more apparent. The potentially fast-approaching stereotype may put many players off, while others will love the accessible gameplay loop. Meanwhile, the game's style forces you to try all the operators' work brilliantly. The whole game works brilliantly. It's a shame that it flaunts the name Rainbow Six, which doesn't suit it given the subject matter, and that it shows some graphical age, mainly due to the seven-year-old Rainbow Six Siege on which it's based.

The genesis of Rainbow Six Extraction started back in 2018. Ubisoft had introduced a limited-time event to their squad-based shooter, Rainbow Six Seige. This game mode, titled ‘Outbreak‘, tasked a cooperative team to take out a wave of aliens, rather than terrorists. With the event being well-received, Ubisoft has developed the formula into a standalone title.
Rainbow Six Extraction takes the awesome gunplay mechanics from Siege and puts them to the test in this brilliant co-op survival experience! With a variety of operators at your exposal, and a large variety of content (plus an exciting endgame), Rainbow Six Extraction promises an addicting thrill ride that will provide hours upon hours of fun!
Rainbow Six Extraction is a solid team-based shooter, with creepy enemies and strong gameplay. The game's Operators are enjoyable to use, even if they don't quite stand out from one another, and the online multiplayer is a lot of fun when you can partner up with a good team. If you're looking for a solo shooter that will keep your attention, you might want to steer clear of this one. For everyone else, Rainbow Six Extraction is a fairly enjoyable experience.
To be honest, I can’t really wait to jump in with my squad into the incursion zones because of the intense survival atmosphere that Rainbow 6: Extraction evokes. In my playthrough, there were scenarios where one of us deployed smoke and the other took down the targets, one of us manned a turret while the other two tried to free the MIA operative. The enemy and weapon types are varied enough, each with their own pros and cons and that encourages familiarity with every single gun, something which R6:Siege veterans might prefer. The game is coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day 1 and as per Ubisoft, more DLCs and Expansions will come. Possibly more locations and other operators from R6:Siege‘s roster. The player base is bound to increase in the coming weeks and R6:Extraction might as well be the first sleeper hit of 2022.
Rainbow Six Extraction will be immediately familiar to those who have already played Rainbow Six Siege, as the title's distinctive gunplay remains the same. In the battle against the Chimera parasite there's less emphasis on destruction and more emphasis on methodical, quiet room clearing while also relying on new equipment to limit enemy actions. Progress is slow at first and may be less interesting for some, but when it gets going, and you're ready for more difficult challenges, Rainbow Six Extraction proves rewarding and addictive. Those looking for an alternative to competitive gaming will find a heart-pounding challenge to face strictly with trusted friends. Ubisoft Montreal has already laid down a good foundation to keep the title constantly updated, and it's a fundamental aspect that only with time will we be able to fully judge.

Extraction is a bold reimagining of the co-op shooter that never came after the cancellation of Patriots. Some issues that needs to be worked out, but still a solid game for co-op fans.
Overall, Rainbow Six Extraction is a fun game, especially if you're a big fan of tactical shooters.
Rainbow Six Extraction has a solid concept and fun underlying gameplay, but there are flaws in that the levels can feel same-y and the experience when playing with random players is not the best. But if you're a Rainbow Six Siege fan and are looking for something to play with friends, Extraction is worth considering.
In a welcoming turn of events, Rainbow Six Extraction surpasses all expectations as it shockingly manages to be an entry of the Tom Clancy franchise that recuts and refreshes its roots.
if you enjoy slow and deliberate stealth games and ideally you know two more people that do as well, you should give Rainbow Six Extraction a chance.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a bold move by Ubisoft. With the delve into sci-fi, Rainbow Six is heading in a new direction. Extraction is an interesting first step, full of both highs and lows. The framework laid out by Siege drives much of the game and moves it forward. But its so similar at times that it can feel like a large expansion instead of a full game. The random nature of the objectives keeps the replayability high for now. But how long it keeps your attention depends on the kind of support Ubisoft has planned. Fans of Siege should absolutely pick this one up, while newcomers to the series can find a safe entry point to some amazing gunplay.
