Couch co-op games often get compared to Overcooked but KeyWe is such an excellent example of the genre that from now on, games should be compared to it. If there's one co-op game that you play this year, make sure it's KeyWe.

Even if I have complaints here and there, all told, KeyWe is a delightfully panic-inducing co-op puzzle game. The level objectives are fun, the hazards are varied, the scattered story scenes are super cute, the cosmetic unlocks are worthy rewards, and the mini-games are meaningful enough to keep coming back to. If you’re feeling lucky, make it a date.

KeyWe is more than just an adorable concept, it actually backs it up with a thoroughly enjoyable co-op experience that always seems to know when to change things up in its formula without ever losing sight of what makes it tick. It's possible to enjoy it solo, but honestly, that pales in comparison to joining friend or family in a round of buttslamming boxes and pecking papers to deliver the mail as the fuzziest little postal workers around.

KeyWe does a great job at delivering exactly what's on the parcel: it's a cute and charming co-op experience that will challenge your communication skills. So grab a friend and get ready to sort the mail, because this one is something special.

KeyWe is a charming and loveable two player experience that will have you coming back for more. If the small Kiwi bird protagonists don’t already have you sold, then the chaotic puzzle platforming levels will. It’s a postal post-office adventure worth taking along with a friend. You can also choose to play it alone, but two player is where it shines the most. With very little to complain about, KeyWe is a fun and joyful title worth your attention.

Kiwis are adorable fluffy little birds native to New Zealand. Did you know they are also flightless birds? You would think being a flightless bird, they wouldn’t carry much talent, but apparently, they can also run teleposters. (Post offices to you Non-Newzealenders)! With this in mind, let’s find out how we got on taking the role of this cute and innocent curiosity.

Cooperative games that rely on a mix of careful communication and a fair degree of control dexterity have really come into fashion, when done well, on the Switch...

KeyWe is a delicious "kiwi-flavored" party game, a cooperative experience for two players that offers lots of fun but also moments of pure chaos.

KeyWe may be a short co-op experience, and certainly isn't pushing PS5 in any capacity, but it'll win you over with its cute, irreverent style. The levels grow steadily more challenging, and it's fun striving for those gold rank times (and finding hidden collectibles) with a friend. If you enjoy games like Overcooked, take this one under your wing.

KeyWe is a great exponent of the genre it represents, although it lacks polish. Ideal for couch multiplayer, especially in short gaming sessions.

KeyWe charmed me as soon as I found out about it. Even if graphically it is not a gem of a gem, the atmosphere itself will win you over and enchant you. The puzzles are brilliantly designed and fun, which is the main thing. If you are looking for a game with friends, which you just turn on, play a few levels, and you can put it off again, then KeyWe should definitely not be missing from your list.

While there are issues, especially with online play, KeyWe is a decent couch co-op game.

Although playable in single-player, it’s hard to recommend KeyWe as a solo experience. This has been very much designed with co-op play in mind, so unless you have someone to play with, don’t bother picking it up. It’s a commendable concept and fun can be had in short bursts, but ultimately the tasks given to these adorable kiwi birds boil down to nothing but repetitive busywork.

If you're looking for something nice to do in the evening and want to integrate partners or roommates into your hobby, you won't go wrong with KeyWe. The cute little feathered creatures are an entertaining change for beginners as well as long-term players, and the constant change of circumstances always brings a breath of fresh air into the unchanging scheme.

There are many cute details in this co-op kiwis-running-a-post-office puzzle game, but ultimately its puzzles become frustrating too often to be properly fun.
