GRID Legends is a solid and fun arcade racing game, not revolutionary but certainly not dull either. Codemasters has worked to improve on the critical aspects of the 2019 reboot, creating a title with enviable content and a revised (though not perfect) artificial intelligence. It's a pity that the story mode is a bit jumbled and customisation is reduced, but overall we're looking at a game that's highly accessible for those who aren't used to the genre, but also potentially satisfying for motorsport fans, assuming you're aware of a distinctly arcade driving model that's intentionally light and without any particular frills.

A tip of the hat to Codemasters for trying something new with the Story Mode. While it doesn’t enhance the game in the way intended, it does make for a useful tour of the game’s offerings. Grid Legends is a lot of fun and that’s what really matters at the finish line.
Codemasters racing thrives on light and shadow. To attract the largest number of players, GRID Legends seems to have lost in part the common thread that had characterized the very good reboot in 2019. The trumpeted story mode "Driven to Glory", despite the good intentions, fails to add to the storytelling that drama and epicness (it does so in an aseptic, artificial way) that characterize the world of motorcyclesport.

GRID Legends goes on the most arcade soul of Codemasters by focusing on quantity and fun. Driven to Glory, the story mode, is quite a disaster and the Career progression is a bit chaotic, but the game has so much content to offer to enjoy. Codemasters achieves to bring thrilling races on the screen and the idea to have the chance to play every single mode in multiplayer is a nice touch to strengthen the experience of a fun and compelling aracade racing game.

If you are looking for a fun arcade racer with tight controls and good car handling but do not mind the forced live-action story mode, Grid Legends might be for you. While the game won’t impress your friends with its visuals or audio, it does provide a lot of content, thanks to the career mode, social play, and race creation.
When it comes to motorsport, gamers are spoilt for choice. Whereas the majority of gamers gravitate to platform exclusives such as Forza Horizon 5, or the recently released Gran Turismo 7, there’s also a wealth of multi-platform titles too. One such is GRID Legends which has been developed by the racing heavyweights over at Codemasters.
After many runs in Grid Legends, I can say that the game is very positive, especially thanks to its accessibility, beautiful production and the large amount of things to get and do. Don't expect a revolutionary experience, either technically or functionally, but rather a job well done and varied. If you are a fan of racing games or even an admirer of the genre, this is certainly a must-have model to have in your garage.

Grid Legends packs in cheesy FMV fun and excellent online features to make the best new GRID game in years
As far as gameplay goes, Codemasters did a solid job, by and large. GRID Legends’ engine makes the play fast-paced and intense, thanks to hard-charging vehicles and an AI that’s not afraid to get aggressive sometimes.
GRID Legends is every bit the successor to 2019’s GRID that it should be. There’s a lot to love here, and this is Codemasters at their best. You have a compelling story with great characters full of representation and diversity, multiplayer that works untethered to a mode or platform with ease, and top-notch racing and competition that’s unrivaled. GRID Legends takes risks this time around, giving variety where it’s needed, and is an intense arcade-meets-simulation racer that simply does it better.
GRID Legends is a good game that can keep entertaining fans of arcade circuit races for a decent number of hours. Although the story mode is not very successful.

GRID Legends doesn't do anything particularly new or ambitious, opting to stay close to the series' strong structure and add more content compared to its predecessor. More ambition would certainly be help to draw more attention to it, but regardless, it's still an excellent racing title.

With GRID Legends, Codemasters has delivered one of the most generous and inclusive racing games of recent years. Though while its moment-to-moment action is pretty much second to none, its career mode just doesn’t quite get its hooks in you like it should. Throw in limited multiplayer offerings, and you have a racing game that’s great but not spectacular. If you want to fling cars around a whole load of city-based tracks and gleefully trade paint with your competitors, this is the racing game for you. Just don’t go in expecting to get all that invested in your career exploits.
It doesn't reinvent the wheel by any stretch, but there's no denying that on the track GRID Legends is a fun time.
GRID Legends misses a few opportunities to be truly excellent, but still exceeds the limitations of its predecessor to become arguably the best GRID game yet.
Grid Legends finds its niche alongside Forza Horizon and Gran Turismo, offering track-based thrills for all skill levels.
GRID Legends repeats with an exciting arcade driving proposal. It may sin of being too continuous, but the formula works quite well and nostalgia is used to give it a more special touch. More circuits, more cars, more races and the same dynamics, which can sin of being unambitious and not really taking the baton of the new generation. However, it is a proposal that will satisfy arcade lovers looking for something more concrete in circuits.

Codemasters gives us another great racing arcade, which incorporates story mode, nemesis system and a huge variety of tests. With a very fine control, and a solid technical section, which stands out for the recreation of the cars, the physics and the effects of the weather.
