My final thought towards WWE 2K22 is that the difference between this one and the previous instalments is night and day. Each game mode is great and it always pushes you towards that one last game. It is every wrestling fan’ dream come true from making matches like The Rock and The Undertaker to dream matches like The Big Boss Man and Rey Mysterio. You owe yourself as not just a fan of the WWE franchise but as a game so that’s why I’m going to give WWE 2K22 the Thumb Culture Platinum Award.
WWE 2K22 isn’t a perfect reinvention of 2K Games’ wrestling series, but it provides solid gameplay and plenty of variety in its many game modes, and the presentation throughout is top-notch. It’s clear that Visual Concepts utilized the extra time afforded to it by WWE 2K22’s longer development cycle well, providing wrestling fans with a worthwhile experience that redeems the franchise for its previous losses in the squared circle.
WWE 2K22 attempts to make up for the massive failure that was 2K20, and for the most part, does so successfully. Featuring an overhaul of the gameplay mechanics and taking some pointers from the SmackDown vs. Raw series, 2K22 stands to become the greatest wrestling game in the 2K series!
I’m a wrestling nerd and I’m not afraid to say it. So, when the chance came along to review WWE 2K22, I grabbed that brass ring with both hands.
WWE 2K22 I think will become an example of how to recover a franchise after a big failure. 2K promised and 2K delivered, I doubt very much that this year we will see anything better in this genre and I think that with the DLCs that will come to the title, developers can even take next year too and work on new innovations for 2024, because this game has a long life.

WWE 2K22 brings all the passion and adrenaline of wrestling, in a format that although it is fair in terms of graphics, stands out for its renewed gameplay, enhancing its mechanics and positioning itself as the best in the franchise.

WWE 2K22 is more than over with the fans, this is easily the best wrestling game in nearly 10 years.
WWE 2K22 exudes fun on all four sides. The simplification of the combat system is a meeting point for both newbies and veterans of the saga and eliminates the initial barrier for the less usual. Its different game modes make you have multiple playable options and you do not want to detach yourself from it. With this installment they overcome the ghosts of the past and have a prosperous path to follow for the future.

2K and Visual Concepts have been able to get the WWE 2K series back on track with WWE 2K22, and in time we'll probably get the wrestling game that can be described as the best wrestling game ever.

Though it's a hardly a tall hurdle to clear, WWE 2K22 is the best WWE 2K game since they started appending '2K' to the title. Much more than that though, it's the best wrestling game to come along in a long, long time and one which almost completely banishes everything that has been historically wrong with the franchise, while also managing to strike out in a bold direction for the series future. Here's hoping that the likely return to annual release schedule doesn't result in a lapse to bad habits and lazy innovation because, well, we've been there for the last ten years or so - and it isn't fun.
When I was young, my parents told me that patience is a virtue: I never believed them. WWE 2K22 taught me that was true. The two years hiatus gave Visual Concepts the time to make things right, tuning all the parts of the game that weren't good enough in the past. You can always do better, so some aspects (like the MyGM game mode) could be improved, but WWE 2K22 feels like a fresh new start.

WWE2K22 has a TON of content that you wanted in a wrestling game. With revamped graphics, mechanics, and customization modes, this one will be hard to stop playing. MyGM and MyRise shine here, and while this title is going to be hard to top, but if this is the blueprint for WWE games going forward, sign me up.
Despite some graphic mishaps, a lackluster debut for MyGM and some feature exclusions like Advanced Entrances due to technical issues, WWE 2K22 returns the series to form better than before.
WWE 2K22 will surprise you with its speed, quality, strong presentation and more arcade gameplay.The game offers a lot of content, although it is still a long way from perfection.

WWE 2K22 marks a return to form for the series, with the entertaining wrestling and wealth of modes sure to keep WWE fans happy for a long, long time. Whether playing in the likes of MyRise and building up a career, MyGM and running your own show, or Showcase and playing through the stand-out moments of a legend of the sport’s career, there’s plenty of variety here that ensures that the game is about MORE than just the wrestling. Add to that the creativity offered when it comes to your own creations and it’s clear that WWE 2K22 has covered all avenues in offering the most robust experience yet. Of course, it’s not perfect and there are a few technical hiccups here and there, whilst the fighting can be a little formulaic in places. WWE 2K22’s strengths certainly outweigh its weaknesses though, and believe me, it DEFINITELY makes up for the travesty that was WWE 2K20.
WWE 2K22 is jam-packed with content, and it represents a significant step forward in terms of graphics and quality when compared to its predecessors. However, there are also significant flaws in the game especially when it comes to multiplayer matches, but a solid groundwork has surely been laid for the future WWE games of this series.
WWE 2K22 manages to be at the same time a redemption to the franchise and a highly recommended entrypoint to anyone who wants to know more about the wrestling universe. The series finally entered the ring ready to take its rightful place on the hearts of fans, deserving a [champion] belt and Pay-Per View match.

A surprisingly strong return to the squared circle, stellar presentation, a new gameplay engine, and robust modes make WWE 2K22 the best 2K in a long time.
Visual Concepts have taken wrestling gaming to the next level. To put it in the best way how WWE 2K22 has restored my faith. This is a great start, and hopefully, this is the start of a great future with WWE 2K.
