Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Reviews
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a reasonably safe AAA experience. Combat can be fun, especially if you’re good at it. For those who need more help or want to slice down foes, there is also a difficulty for you. Locations might have some derivative mechanics, yet that doesn’t stop me from wanting to explore them. Add in what fans love about Star Wars, and it might not be revolutionary, but it is an experience fans of the franchise or sci-fi itself will almost certainly enjoy.
Building on the same polished foundation that was set before was the studio's best decision, and as a result, a great game came out that offered a very beautiful world, an interesting and well-written story, as well as great audio and an addictive gameplay.

STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor will be a perceived as a prominent piece of gaming history from 2023. A leading standard to action-adventure, role-playing, hack-and-slash storytelling that adapts the incredibly creative minds of Lucasfilm’s original vision.
The quality of life improvements are awesome and the combat is still a lot of fun.The experience is not flawless, but thanks to a recent patch, Jedi: Survivor runs much closer to perfect.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is absolutely worth playing. It’s a rare game that exceeds despite several key issues, and the more I reflect on its narrative and core themes, the more impressed I find myself. Beware spoilers, and go in with zero expectations. Jedi: Survivor will win over your heart, just like it did mine.

Respawn Entertainment took most of the right lessons from Fallen Order’s reception for this release. It delivered another excellent story, expanded upon an already great combat system, and made necessary improvements to world exploration. As an open world game, the game also entices the player to explore with engaging tactics, side quests, and side characters. Technical issues do dampen the total experience a lot. While EA and Respawn have been patching the game, waiting for more patches is understandable. However, once those patches are in, every Star Wars fan must play this game because it succinctly shows the path to the Dark Side.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor had a rough start at launch but the content was always strong enough to shine through past its technical issues. Now most of those are resolved or are in the process of being fixed, the game is an easy recommendation and may just be my favourite game this year. Everything is bigger, better, more elaborate and enjoyable and it makes for the best Star Wars gaming experience I’ve had since Knights of the Old Republic. Respawn have built something very special that has connected wonderfully with the current goings on in the Star Wars universe, while creating a product that is able to expand our understanding of this universe in new and interesting ways through great writing, direction, and gameplay.
Despite a variety of performance issues, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor presents masterful storytelling, in-depth characters and combat mechanics that deliver thrilling and enjoyable gameplay moments.
Not only is :Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" one of the best Star Wars games ever made, it's also one of the best single player adventures EA has ever published. The gameplay is varied, challenging and incredibly captivating, the open worlds are impeccably well designed, and the story is more compelling than most movies and series that have come out in the last decade. It's fun from start to finish, and just falls out of contention for game of the year due to all the technical issues that continue to plague the experience even after multiple updates. If Fallen Order managed to reach the status of Jedi Knight, Survivor reaches the level of Jedi Master... even if it is bumpy.

This may not be my absolute favorite Star Wars video game and I still hope to see something truly unique in this medium using this setting but this is one of the best Star Wars moments I’ve been able to share and that’s what really makes storytelling in settings like this so important.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has all the makings of a great game, but its performance issues and occasionally wonky story hold it back a bit. Cal and his friends are as fun to follow as ever and combat can be a blast in most scenarios – maybe just give this one a couple of months to reach its full potential.
The story works but it has some notable flaws, and if you’re familiar with the property lots of it feels like familiar ground. The gameplay is solid enough but it’s very much about following a very strict path rather than going off in new directions. The visuals are afforded far too much weight and don’t actually work all that well beyond seeing quick snippets in trailers. Which, when you look at it all in one go, might make this the most Star Wars game possible in all of Star Wars. I just wish that felt like a compliment.
A better sequel with way more content and great attention to detail. It expands on every area of the previous game but it also comes with a good number of performance setbacks and visual glitches. It would be a near-perfect game if it wasn't for such a rushed release.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor delivers on all fronts, improving and expanding on the foundations laid down by Fallen Order. Despite some unpolish and performance concerns, this is a must-play for any Star Wars fanatic.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set five years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Cal Kestis is still trying to evade the Empire. Cal has now gained the necessary experience and you as a player can continue his adventure. New planets are visited that are also a lot bigger than in the previous part. Don't worry, you can now accelerate to certain places on those planets without having to go through everything. The necessary improvements have been made and the fact that you can now learn your own fighting style is a big plus. Unfortunately, the game sometimes drops some stitches in the technical field, but that does not make fighting with a lightsaber any less.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a fun game packed with things to do, but that scale ends up to the detriment of telling its story.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is still as strong in Power as its predecessor.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an incredible game, boasting a great story coupled with top notch combat and rich worlds to explore, unfortunately its technical state is so dire I can't recommend it at all for the time being.

Jedi Survivor is a phenomenal game that builds on the strengths of its predecessor, even if not all of its narrative choices pan out.
