Summing it up, Street Fighter 6 is great, and well worth the price tag considering the game modes available to players and the customization options and story mode in World Tour, the classic Street Fighter runs in knowing characters’ stories in Arcade Mode and the inevitable online battles which await you. In the immortal words of Joe Bob Briggs, “Four stars, check it out!”

Street Fighter 6 is an undisputed masterpiece. From beginner-friendly game design to distinct visual combined with heavy hitting sensation, the overall experience was near perfect. In particular, World Tour mode gives you the unique feeling of Final fight meets GTA, have proved itself as a key content with respect for the original characters, tutorials and fun.

Street Fighter 6 is a step forward in the fighting games genre—new mechanics, heroes, and accessibility for complete newcomers to the series. However, the novelty in the form of the World Tour turned out to be terrible. Outdated game design, uninteresting world, and quests. Although it could have been a significant part of the game that could have shot the genre to a new level, it's just a dud mode that feels like a completely different studio working on it.

Needless to say, Street Fighter 6 has set a new benchmark for the genre in more ways than one. The new Drive System injects a new sense of depth into an established formula, the roster is more than substantial to keep players busy, and the online netcode allows for true skill to shine through. Other than the slight misstep of the World Tour mode, everything else connects like a well-timed haymaker, and that’s an impressive feat to say the least.

Street Fighter 6 is the game that proves what disability advocates have been saying for decades: You can build an accessible game without taking away any of the depth that it has. I want every single fighting game to follow this exact lead. The game’s new systems and eclectic cast have far outshined the lackluster World Tour.

Street Fighter 6 is a welcome rebound for Capcom after the disappointing Street Fighter 5. With its stylish aesthetics, revamped mechanics, and compelling character roster, it undoubtedly carries the torch forward for this iconic franchise. However, a few missteps, notably the underwhelming World Tour mode, prevent it from achieving true knockout status. The game might not be a flawless victory, but it certainly lands enough hits to keep fans of the series engaged and hopeful for what comes next.

It has been over a month since launch and most of the player base continues to have a wonderful time, myself included. The game contains a huge factor of fun amplified by its new, modern take on hip-hop style. The music and redesign of characters echo the nature of the fighting game community (FGC) and the spirit found in tournaments whether local or professional. The FGC is a niche group. However, one that relies on the heart and the camaraderie of a chosen family. If you are looking to join that family, Street Fighter 6 is a great point of entry.

Overall, Street Fighter 6 is a triumphant return for Capcom. Coming from the lackluster showing of Street Fighter 5, this latest installment ticks all of the right boxes and then some. There are a ton of modes for players to sink hours into, and with the inclusion of rollback netcode, online matches are pure bliss. While the addition of “easier” control schemes may be a controversial decision, this gives budding world warriors the chance to jump in and quickly be competitive right off the bat. Higher levels of play will want to stick to the classic controls for full access to any and all moves, but it is always nice to have a choice.

Street Fighter 6 has completely reinvigorated my interest in the Street Fighter series and fighting games in general. I can easily see myself hitting 60 or 70 hours in the World Tour mode alone, and that's on top of already putting dozens of hours into Fighting Ground and Battle Hub. This is the most feature-complete fighting game I've ever played and sets a new high bar for Capcom's legendary series.

Despite not being the biggest fan of the Street Fighter series, I can see great potential in this game and it's not thanks to its graphics or character design as it has always done an excellent job in these aspects. The real highlight is undoubtedly its innovative and unique combat, its' controls that allows any player to enjoy the game, whether experienced or not, and last but not least the story mode. There are countless cases of combat games that try to make a story mode of this qualitu and never succeed. Street Fighter 6 is without a doubt a must-have game for fans of the series, as well as fans of fighting games in general. Perhaps one of the best in recent years.

Street Fighter 6 delivers some tight, fun gameplay with gorgeous visuals and a litany of content for longtime fans. The game is far from perfect with a half baked World Tour mode that feels more like a “work-in-progress” than a fully realised new path for the iconic series. Whether you are a lapsed fan (like me), brand new to the series or a die-hard savant, then the excellent arcade mode. Some great character designs and responsive controls make this a strong entry in the beloved Street Fighter franchise.

Overall, I feel that Street Fighter 6 is an amazing fighting game that has a lot to offer both newcomers to the franchise and veterans alike. The gameplay is incredibly fun and is the most accessible the series has ever been. There’s sure to be something to like about the game for everybody. Whether you’ve been playing the game for years or you’re a newcomer, there’s no better time for people to jump into the series and start playing one of the best fighting games in recent years.
