Journey is minimalist to allow you to fill in those gaps with your own emotion and experience — to apply your personal situation and make the story your own. It's a simple beauty, but one that shines brightly and now has the opportunity to be played by millions more thanks to its stunning upgrade to PS4, with beautiful lighting and environments that impress. Whether you've played Journey before, or never had the opportunity, do yourself a favor and make your way to the top of the mountain on PS4. You may find more on the way to the peak than you expected at the outset.
Firing up Journey on PS4 is a delight. It's so gorgeous and fluid in 1080p and 60 frames-per-second. Even though that's really the only thing different about it, it's a wonderful experience.
Its anecdotes function as mawkish indicators of social status, as the Internet crowd often forgets that being online is a privilege for more than a few.
Anyway, Journey on PlayStation 4 is undoubtedly the definitive edition of an instant classic. It's not drastically different and there really isn't any new content, but the upgrades included in this package are noticeable and appreciated, and vault the production into the stratosphere. We are moved and impacted; some even say they're forever changed after finishing.
Pulling on emotional strings throughout, Journey is every bit the masterpiece on PS4 that it was on PS3. It's an emphatic example of art, sound and design working in complete harmony together, creating a piece of digital art that just begs to be experienced. Journey is nearly flawless, and will remain so until the end of time.
A masterfully-crafted, scarf-swaddled allegory. Take the trip.
Still a great production. Not everyone will like it, but that does not mean that it is not worth the attention. An additional plus for the fact that having a PS3 version, we get a release on PS4 for free.

New Sony adopters can hail as an indie champion has come to PlayStation 4 while returning Nomads can appreciate the upgraded visual splendor.
Three years later, Journey remains one of the most powerful games in recent memory.
A beautiful, emotional, minimalist journey full of wonder and heartbreak.
With the addition of Journey, the PlayStation 4 library has gotten a heck of a lot more special. If October's Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection manages to avoid being a technical disaster, this will mean that Sony's latest console will have five of the most incredible PlayStation 3 titles available for purchase if you include both this and The Last of Us Remastered.
Journey has only improved with time, earning its status as one of the best games ever created.
Whether you played and enjoyed Journey before or are curious to see what the fuss is all about, the PS4 version provides a great excuse to experience one of PSN's greatest titles for a first or second time.
One of the greatest video games ever made. A masterpiece.
If you are one of those who did not play it on PS3, you have before you a unique adventure of its kind, of those that without words says it all. And if you have it, thanks to the Cross-Buy you can enjoy it on PS4 without costs and with visual improvements. The remasters like that, YES.

Less is most definitely more in this beautifully understated co-op adventure, that dares you to make sense of its enigmatic voyage.
This is interactive art. This is how it's done.
