Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure Reviews
Rally Adventure is more conventional than last year’s outlandish Hot Wheels expansion, but fusing the open-world foundations of Forza Horizon with the arcade accessibility of Sega Rally is still a winning combination.
The Rally Adventure expansion is not a bad way to close the chapter on Forza Horizon 5. It’s definitely not as epic as the Hot Wheels expansion was. However, it brings with it a pretty significant new area, new vehicles, and a new variation on racing that the Forza Horizon 5 hasn’t fully explored before. The price of admission isn’t too pricey, so if you’re still engaged in Forza Horizon 5, or looking for a reason to jump back in, the Rally Adventure expansion isn’t a bad investment.
Rally Adventure fully recreates the structure of Forza Horizon 5, so those who loved the basic experience should definitely dive into its heated competitions devoted to the beloved sport.

It is great to be back in Forza Horizon 5, but Rally Adventure fell short to meet expectations because a clearly lack of personality. It is not bad as an expansion, but is not great.

Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure is a great but non-essential DLC that really lacks big innovations.

I’m sure serious rally-heads have had plenty of video game content to chew on that I’d never thought to dabble in, but I’m glad I got the chance to experience it in Forza Horizon 5, and I’m certain Rally Adventure will capture both diehards and newcomers like myself with the sheer exhilaration of its races and the franchise’s continued penchant for spectacle and accessibility.
The Rally Raid maintains the consistent performance of the Horizon series and aims to emulate rally racing through its weather, handling, and track design, providing an outstanding racing experience. However, beyond the racing experience, this DLC falls flat. The absence of distinctive scenery and insufficiently detailed roadbook creates a disappointing impression from the outset. Additionally, the lack of authenticity in the racing culture and the lacklustre storyline of subsequent events are unacceptable.

Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure might not feel as different in its offerings from the base experience as last year's Hot Wheels expansion did, but it proves to be yet another chance for Playground Games to showcase how fundamentally fun the Forza Horizon formula is.
Rally Adventure may shine when it comes to visuals and pure entertainment, but as an expansion pack for the glorious Forza Horizon 5, you'd expect a much more comprehensive package. The substandard design of the roads and the nonexistence of official Rally rules are the main reasons why Rally Adventure is far behind the competition and it seems that Playground's new policy is dragging the Forza series into a repetitive cycle.

Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure is not only a love letter to the actual motorsport but also the video games that have paved the way and inspired series like Horizon. It might not be what everyone was necessarily wanting from the second and likely final expansion for FH5, but the driving experience here is fun from start to finish and remains the core focus - with dirt roads and tracks that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and all sorts of bumps and surprises along the way. It's well worth your time if you're looking for more adventures in the land of Horizon.
An engaging expansion which offers something unique for Forza Horizon 5 and lets fans spend a couple more evenings in this fantastic game.

Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure brings a similar energy to the one that Dirt 2 had in the past. It's all about the atmosphere and pure joy of driving. It proves the timeless fun of the base game, but the length of the main campaign and the variability of the content are its weaker points. In addition, it also brings a lot of great improvements that will be enjoyed not only by expansion players, but also by those playing the base game.

Forza Horizon 5 is fantastic; everyone should play the game on whatever platform they can. Even if driving games are not your thing, I implore you to try it
The release of Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure brings back Forza Horizon expansions with a decent and enjoyable package, but it doesn't quite live up to the standards set by Playground Games' previous incredible expansions.

Rally Adventure is a fun ride but doesn't bring much new to the table. If you simply want more Forza Horizon 5, this DLC will likely suffice. However, if you are looking for something that will shake up the formula a bit more, this expansion may leave you feeling underwhelmed.
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure is a wonderfully realized expansion. From the breathtaking vistas to the immersive rally vibes, the latest DLC adds to the Forza Horizon experience. And that’s precisely what expansions should do. Some might be disappointed that there is no franchise tie-in. However, Sierra Nueva is guaranteed to leave a positive impression.
Rally Adventure is grounded expansion. Those aren’t typically my favorite in the Horizon series, but this one is the exception. I’m still not a huge fan of the chatter from the NPCs but every other part of this expansion is top-notch. If you love the base game, this is more of it in a better-than-ever package.
