F1 23 is a good effort on Codemasters' part, in a franchise that is released year after year. It is a complicated task to implement major novelties in just 12 months, but this time it was noticed that they struggled. We have a more desirable Braking Point 2, an F1 World full of competitions and challenges, and the implementation of the Super License and Tech Level that give the depth that was missing. Those who feared the possibility of this being just a year dedicated to updating the drivers and cars, can rest assured. This season is one of the best of recent times in the universe of virtual Formula 1 racing.

F1 23 is a solidly packed racing experience that improves upon its predecessor in almost every way. With a little something for everyone, on top of an immersive and impressive experience on PS5, it's a worthwhile addition to the libraries of enthusiasts and casuals alike. We loved how tailormade the game could become, whether that was a heavily assisted racing experience, or a brutally immersive one. The campaign doesn't always hit the mark, and F1 World while expansive isn't exactly revolutionary, but at the very least, it's nice to see Formula 1 get the same care and attention that many other popular sports games have been receiving for years.

It only remains to say that it is one of the best racing games made to date and without a doubt the most outstanding in the world of Formula 1, since it is faithful to its roots, maintains its essence, as well as adding new features such as the exciting and deep F1 World mode and the long-awaited return of the Braking Point narrative production.

Accessibility is the watchword of F1 23. Codemasters has not limited itself to the task and has rearranged the driving model to make it less unpredictable and, above all, more suitable for those who do not compete with steering wheel and pedals.

With Braking Point 2 aboard, F1 23 is a far heartier package than F1 22. However, while the new F1 World mode is packed with activities, its loot-based upgrade system may split fans.

We can say, without a doubt, that F1 23 is once again crowned king in terms of Formula 1 simulation games. After playing with a friend who has never had experience in games of this type, he told me that he felt really comfortable and that he had a great time playing in his casual mode, an experience that I thought could overwhelm him and that ended up being the opposite, a very comfortable, accessible and above all very fun afternoon. The Braking Point 2 mode is a hit, since, apart from pure and hard competition, its objective game system, beyond being among the first, makes the experience very interesting as well as satisfying to play. If we add all this to the drama that the rival protagonists experience behind the scenes in a television documentary plan and the recovery of characters from season 1, the final result is a most interesting cocktail. Special mention of its large number of game modes, both competitive and cooperative, in addition to the use of driver and team licenses, a mixture that results in an amalgamation that makes this game a very good sports experience, if not the best, of F1 , simply the definitive simulator of this genre. A game that becomes essential in any library of sports game lovers and whose only drawback is the poor facial animations of some of its characters, which are overshadowed by the spectacular visual aspect of the single-seaters, the true protagonists of this title. , together with the micropayment rate, an incomprehensible practice and that despite being cosmetic additions, are only accessible with real money instead of in-game. In short, a game that will give us many hours of fun with its numerous game modes and its multiplayer (online and offline).

With the sport growing rapidly, and no intentions of slowing down, 'F1 23' continues the yearly release, but gives the player a good experience. Whether you're a total rookie on the controller or a pro on your Fanatec wheel. 'F1 23' is a fun time overall.

F1 23 covers a lot of bases. The 2023 version offers a variety of ways to play the game depending on your skill level and preferences. It is a good iteration for newcomers to jump into and the greater depth of options will satisfy the needs of veterans.

F1 23 takes big swings, and most of them pay off. F1 World is a solid foundation that can be built on year after year, and Braking Point is an engaging story mode you can play through once. But the general shift into more multiplayer focus without the proper tools to make it function fluidly leave this more of a game for full cockpit racing sim heads than regular race fans.

Every year the question is how good F1 has become again, but again this year they manage to outdo themselves at Codemasters. The game has some innovation due to the slightly changed interface, the return of the story mode and the addition of F1 World. Above all, F1 World brings many challenges that will make you want to return. The career mode, however, brings very few new features, but is still rock solid. The gameplay changes such as the excessive oversteer takes some getting used to, but eventually brings a lot more realism. I take for granted the poor acting and voice-overs, but they bring a somewhat childish character to the game. However, F1 23 is again a good step forward and especially with the many challenges that have been added, great value for money.

It may not be remembered as one of the best titles in the series, but F1 23 has many arrows to its bow. From the driving model to the red flags, Codemasters has made an effort to make its simulation more accessible and fun without distorting its soul too much. The return of Braking Point mode is appreciable, while the addition of the F1 World hub is ideal for those looking for a quick challenge and who like to race online. Graphics, AI, and Career mode are aging badly and needing a refresh.

Another fastest lap under for Codemasters, the predictability of the cars makes it a lot easier to handle than previous years-especially for those using a controller. Wheel users might not benefit so much from the changes, but the cars still feel more planted.
