From the beginning to the end, you will feel the need to keep playing, to know what happens to Cloud and his friends and if Shinra or Sephiroth will end the world. This impressive adventure stands as testimony that the remake project remains in good hands, honors its legacy and takes it to the top with new and original elements.

My time through Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was profound. In one moment I was relishing in the opportunity to learn more about a world and characters I have loved for nearly 30 years. In the next, I was mourning the passing of principles and ideas that represent the very foundation of my love for the RPG genre and the Final Fantasy franchise as a whole. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth marks the very best in class across practically every element of game design for the Final Fantasy franchise, but I still couldn’t help but feel I was bidding farewell to an old friend.
Most of all, I love and adore the work that Kazushige Nojima has done with the narrative (especially the ending that, once again, challenges everything we assumed about the FFVII plot), and he further entrenches himself as arguably the most innovative and creative writer in JRPGs with Rebirth.
This installment builds on and improves upon what made REMAKE so great, namely beautiful scenery and epic music in addition to the best in class battle system, while one of that game's flaws, namely the dearth of side content, although the story segments can still suffer from filler content at times. It expands, improves Nd subverts enough to create a thrilling experience for veterans and newcomers alike.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is awesome. FFVII Remake's excellent battle system is further enhanced, the story leaves the player (whether a veteran or newcomer to the series) intrigued to know what will happen, and there is an immense amount of content to be explored.

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth knocks it out of the park. It takes the already excellent first game and expands it to a bigger and more populated world. The combat has been improved, the dungeon design is better, the story hits a lot more than it misses, and from start to finish, it was pretty much everything I could've wanted. Only a few nagging problems keep it from perfection, and it's a love letter to everything that makes Final Fantasy VII great.
Square Enix puts its best face forward with an excellent PC port for one of its best games in years. It's not totally perfect, but the truth is that they have managed to encapsulate the best of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on a new platform.

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH takes what made REMAKE work and expands on the formula in nearly every way imaginable from its rewarding combat and exploration to its absolutely hilarious humour. As a long-time fan, I'm incredibly happy with what it has to offer.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is more than just a remake - it is a reinterpretation of a classic that catapults the legacy of FF7 into the modern age. The already emotional story of the original is expanded here with even deeper characters and unexpected twists. The gameplay, which was already excellent in the remake, has been refined in some places and expanded to include the gigantic exploration section. In the areas of video and audio, a PC game can always score points with the right hardware. But even without the latest components, the world of Gaia looks simply wonderful. Whether you're a long-time fan or a newcomer to the world of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, you can expect an epic adventure that redefines the genre and sets the bar for future remakes. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is undoubtedly a must-have for all fans of the franchise - a successful balancing act between nostalgia and forward-looking gameplay that will most likely exceed expectations. With all the bombastic new features, I'm already curious to see whether the final part of the remake trilogy will be able to top it.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is excellent part in the middle of this series. It maybe suffers from the lack of a proper introduction and ending, or inconsistent pacing, but it is still an event, which you should not miss, if you take it serious about the RPG genre.

The PC port of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a fantastic upgrade to an already superb game. Everything is highly customizable for the player and will make any doubter turn their head.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is still an amazing game that looks even better on PC. While there are some weird restrictions in the PC settings, it's the best way to play the second part in what is so far a great trilogy of remakes.

The visuals are amazing, and the world is stunning, especially once you get to Costa Del Sol and the Golden Saucer areas which are absolutely breathtaking. The lighting has been adjusted, and the game’s overall rendering of light is significantly improved and the updated areas and cutscenes are presented with even greater clarity than before.
Impressive, well-crafted, content-rich, Rebirth makes good use of the legend of the classic Final Fantasy VII.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a game without a beginning or an end, yet it's the kind of audacious, breathtaking, and superlative artistry that redefines what we expect from the genre. Square Enix has proven itself once again as a master of the RPG.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth lands on PC just under a year after its release on PlayStation 5, and the news is that it's a really good porting. Admittedly, it's not a flawless piece of work, but neither is it as bad as the previous chapter in the trilogy.
