House Flipper 2 still has flaws, but it’s a massive improvement over its predecessor, and one of the most relaxing titles I’ve played in a while.

House Flipper 2 is a game that takes boring tasks such as cleaning or renovations and transforms them into truly addictive and enjoyable fun. Despite the simplicity in gameplay and repetitive activities, this title doesn't get boring for a moment. I spent 12 wonderful hours with it and I certainly won't stop there. I recommend it to fans of simulation games, but also to people who are looking for something lighter, at which it is easy to relax.

House Flipper 2 clearly defines "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The gameplay does not differentiate itself from the first game, yet people will find it more appealing as it uses the same formula as the first game. House Flipper 2 tends to be a facelift of the series' debut title, fancier graphics, and more up-to-date mechanics, and combined with a classic playstyle, it is still worth getting. But hey, if you are still having fun with the first game, that is acceptable; you are not missing much by getting House Flipper 2 late, but it would be nice to get it after you finish your adventures in the original game.

For me, House Flipper 2 is a fine example of what you'd expect from a sequel to this kind of game. If the first title was a success with the community, it's important to keep track of what was appreciated. This second opus offers a similar experience, but with improved gameplay, visuals and ergonomics. It's true that the content seems a little sparse, and that it would have been interesting to include much more content right from the start. However, the game developed by the Frozen District and Empyrean team should appeal to older players, while being more accessible to new users.

House Flipper 2 builds on everything that made the first game so beloved. Some polish from future patches and DLC could go a long way in making the experience even better.

The only issue, really, is I think it is quite the specific niche for a game to fill. Unless you’re really into this game’s subject matter (Hey, if you like decorating housing in Final Fantasy XIV, you might just be one of these people), you’re probably going to pass on this. The game does try its best to give you the full experience without making it feel too much like real work, but for me at least, I spend enough time cleaning that I don’t really need to do it in a video game. Having said that though, I cannot deny that the experience is well-polished, and absolutely worth a buy if being a house flipper is your personal fantasy.

House Flipper 2 doesn’t reinvent the formula of the first game, but still offers enough new ideas and refinements to make it even better to play than before. You can go all out on the building and renovation work to make plenty of money, or you can take it at your own peaceful pace – House Flipper 2 offers something for everyone, whilst the expanded building tools and intuitive sandbox mean you have more freedom than ever to showcase your creativity and share your creations with other players. It really does improve on just about every facet of the previous game, whilst the more polished presentation and design makes it prettier and more accessible than before. It’s just really, really good, and I think I’ll be spending a LOT of hours showing off my house flipping skills over the coming months…

House Flipper 2 is a very good sequel. Even though there are some things we felt it was missing and some things we were looking for from the first game, we can recommend it to you with peace of mind.

House Flipper 2 is another solid addition to the line of up of weird, fun simulation titles. If you enjoy things like the original House Flipper, Powerwash Simulator, and such, you’ll love this one. House Flipper 2 was polished, had great sound and good animations, and all the quests were fun. My biggest complaint is that the game was too short, and I’m really looking forward to any DLC that will be released to add more items to decorate with.

Even after the original gripes we had, it slowly became apparent that House Flipper 2 is just as much fun, if not more so, than its original form.

House Flipper 2 is the addictive train wreck I’ve wanted all year long. I have never vacuumed crumbs with such glee or tossed trash around with such enthusiasm. This is the perfect game for fans of titles like Powerwash Simulator, but will also appeal to The Sims players looking for a title more focused on the creative elements. House Flipper 2 will delight players with its interesting stories, and provide endless ways to satisfy the cleaning itch without having to get your hands dirty. However, if players looking to play House Flipper 2 don’t have a powerful gaming PC, it may be better to wait until the game becomes available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles in March, as the current requirements could be hindering for those without gaming machines. Despite this, it is a must-have for simulation fans, and one I plan to dedicate unfathomable hours to in the coming months.

House Flipper 2 is another great addition to the simulation genre that turns mundane busywork into relaxing and engaging gameplay. There's enough variety in tasks to keep things fresh, and the sandbox mode takes things even further with limitless freedom. The PC version has some performance issues, and you'll run into a few bugs here and there, but it's still an enjoyable experience that's both addictive and cathartic.
