Overwatch may yet cool off and fall by the wayside at some point in the near future, but it sure seems like it's here for the long haul. Pretty much everything about this game feels fresh and exciting: the class-based combat, the art style, the roster, the modes. It's equal parts strategic and twitchy, encouraging you to think while also rewarding skill, and its roster is a delight. Overwatch may well be the best new multiplayer shooter to come along since Modern Warfare and Team Fortress 2 took 2007 by storm. I can't wait to play more.
Blizzard has always excelled at delivering enjoyable games with beautiful presentations, and Overwatch shows that it can extend this talent to genres that it's never visited before. This might be its first shooter, but it's rich with beautiful art and has a remarkable fun factor that you would expect from only the most elite shooter-oriented developers. It's recommendable to just about anyone even if it falters when it comes to solo play. It won't be difficult to invite your friends to come join you, after all.
Truly, I believe that we'll be seeing a lot more of Overwatch in the years to come. Blizzard has a great track record when it comes to long-term support, and given how good it is out of the gate, it can only get better from here. Blizzard has truly snatched victory from the draws of defeat.
A great multiplayer game full of charisma. It allows you to change characters to face the wide variety of situations that can occur in combat and technically it is a joy. Too bad it doesn't have a main campaign.

Overwatch has managed to live up to the hype, and that's saying a lot when we're dealing with a Blizzard game. It has managed to get out of the pigeonhole to which the press and the public have condemned it in recent months, and it has proven to be a multiplayer with its own style and some very remarkable ideas in favor of team play. It does not have a campaign, but it does not lack a good story, Overwatch is the best multiplayer game so far this year and a strong candidate to continue being so when 2016 ends.

For multiplayer aficionados, Overwatch is essential. It's the kind of game worth sacrificing entire evenings to play and the kind of game you won't be able to stop thinking about, even when you're away. Although the lack of a singleplayer component will deter some, there's more than enough mileage to be had from twelve maps and 21 heroes available.
It has been a very long time since I've felt this much passion for a game. Overwatch is a perfect storm. It's a new IP, looks gorgeous, plays phenomenally and singlehandedly rekindled my desire to play a genre of game I thought I'd left behind at this point.
Overwatch is a collection of firsts, but it carries itself with the confidence and proficiency of a veteran. It has plenty of room to grow and expand, but as our first step into this world, it's inviting, competitive, smartly designed, beautiful to look at, and fun to play. You can't ask for much more than that.
A great title that only needs to have more content (which is on the way for free) to not have any type of blemish. A vice suitable for fans of action games, but also enjoyed by the less common of the genre.

An incredible game and should be enjoyed by everyone, and the most fun I've had with a shooter in years. Brimming with personality, the only concerns are longevity, and how dependent it is on other players to make the game fun.
