Cuphead Reviews
Cuphead is a masterpiece that surely we won't see anything like it for years to come. But I don't think the difficulties of the gameplay is worth of losing a large part of the community.

It's safe to say that the Nintendo Switch version of Cuphead is the best among all others, and obviously because of the Switch's portable capabilities which made the gameplay experience twice as fun. Cuphead is definitely one the best titles ever made for Switch and worth every penny and every second of your money and time.
Like a fine whiskey, Cuphead is a game best enjoyed in small shots rather than trying to neck the bottle in one. The former will simply make you jolly. The latter will probably leave you a gibbering wreck.
Challenge is prevalent, but with lovely visuals and sound coupled with a well-crafted, though still terse, difficulty curve, this is an adventure worth working your way through. My only real qualms are with the controllers on the Switch and some frustration found in the late-game bosses. This is a gem of an addition to the Switch library.
Cuphead is a stunning game that truly stands out from its peers on a presentational level.
With a mix of brutal boss battles and challenging run and gun sections Cuphead is notorious for being a tough game...
Cuphead depicts the childhood dream of the Moldenhauer brothers, a chimerical desire that turned into an enchanting reality. The union of their impetuous passions has churned out a true gem, with outsized art direction and snappy, satisfying gameplay. A title peppered with quotations and homages to a bygone era, but one that thanks to its memory will remain immortal for eternity.

The nostalgic game brings classic graphics and combines this with extremely difficult gameplay. This version is just as great as the Xbox One and PC versions, but now you can take it with you.

Cuphead is already in its own right a modern classic that all lovers of run & gun and action games and extreme skill platforms should play. With a visual section inspired by the animation style of the 30s, perfectly recreated and drawn by hand, and a soundtrack with jazz themes that fit perfectly with the proposed artistic section, Cuphead already consecrates Studio MDHR in its first title and It makes us wait for news of upcoming projects from the Canadian studio and the Cuphead brothers.

The conversion of Cuphead for Nintendo Switch shows the care with which the ports should be performed on Nintendo's hybrid console. Technically identical to its previously released counterparts, and accompanied by all the improvements added with the latest update, Cuphead offers a fast-paced, fun and respectful experience of the important origins it wants to celebrate.

Cuphead lives up to its initial promises, a beautifully cartoonish game with punishing side-scrolling action. The perfect soundtrack complements the beautiful graphics, capturing the era of old cartoons.
Cuphead is a game that every fan of arcade games must play.

Cuphead is a game that really should be played by everyone. If you’re someone who likes to work hard to improve at a game, like Crash Bandicoot, for example, this game is definitely for you. If you’re also someone who just likes shooting stuff in the face while enjoying a boppy soundtrack and appreciating some fine art, it’s also for you. Cuphead really is a masterpiece of simplistic game design. I’m not the most patient person in the world but this game just grabs you and releases a hidden determination to beat its challenges and I had an absolute blast while doing it.
Cuphead is a hot news of the indie scene. Atypical animated graphics attract many players, but it has a catch. It is directly extraterrestrial hardcore. More than Dark Souls? Hardly, yet it bothers you enough. However, if you overcome the difficulty, you will get exactly what you bought: a trip to a completely unique game.

Cuphead's arrival on PlayStation 4 is an excellent addition to the console library, providing one of the largest communities of the current generation also has access to this excellent game. Another interesting point about this launch is that now all players will be able to enjoy the upcoming DLC, called Delicious Last Course, which still has no confirmed release date, but which is still scheduled for this year, promising to pull out what remains of the hair of our heads.

Cuphead on PS4 is an excellent port of a fun and unique boss rush run-and-gun title. Outside of a few quirks with its difficulty scale, everything about this experience is fluid and entertaining. The aesthetic is the star of the show, which pair well with the responsive controls and captivating soundtrack. You might encounter a few moments of frustration after then tenth death to a boss, but the satisfaction of overcoming these moments is a great reward.
Cuphead is brutally difficult and incredibly rewarding to play, and plays very smoothly on PS4. Each of the levels only last a couple minutes, and the actual scrolling levels are far harder than any of the boss stages included in here. If you have the chance, pick this one up. If you’re a gamer, you shouldn’t have any excuse of it not being available to you any longer.
I really liked Cuphead. While not having the skills to finish the game – yet – I will be plugging away at it. It’s a mountain and I am determined to reach the summit. The game has one of the best art styles I have ever seen and while I do wish there was an ‘easy mode’ so that more people could enjoy what Studio MDHR has created here, it’s impossible not to admire the execution.
Cuphead is a 2D action and platform game perfect to play alone or in company. Very fun and addictive that will make you want more of him. Its technical section is impeccable at all levels so if you did not have the opportunity to play it in its day, you no longer have an excuse not to do it.
