Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Reviews
THPS 3+4 has still got it!
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is a great remake. While it plays on nostalgia, the collection also takes advantage of all the skills you can practice during your gaming sessions. The camera issues still persist.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is an excellent sequel. It has the smooth skateboard gameplay we all know and love, with tons of features and modes.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is a great game that is packed with content that will keep players coming back to it for a long time long after finishing both campaigns. While on its own it is just as good as 1+2 in the gameplay department, the soundtrack consisting of mostly new tracks along with the removal of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4's original career mode will make this game probably not hit as hard in the nostalgia department as the first game did. On its own Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is very good, but as remakes of the original 3 and 4? Not as good.
While there's clearly an issue with preservation, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is still a great package, one that those who grew up with the GameCube and PlayStation 2 titles likely won't appreciate much, but everyone who got into the series with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is sure to love, and hopefully, it will lead to a whole new installment.

Some remakes simply have the 'money-spinner' label stuck to their foreheads, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 exudes passion through every pore. One could argue that it takes too few risks, but that's a small criticism for such a great game. This second update is pure fun. It's pure arcade fun, with an addictive formula, new cards for the first time in 15 successful years, and an abundance of cosmetics to unlock. A must for fans of the franchise.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 lands somewhere between remake and reimagining. It doesn’t land either perfectly, but it's still a ton of fun. There’s a lot to see and do, but I’ll always come back to just skating around, pulling off tricks just for the fun of it.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is a faithful recreation of the original with all of the bells and whistles of a modern-day port. Smoother gameplay, new levels, and new goals make this a perfect THPS game for new and old fans alike.
For my money, the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series peaked with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 in 2001. It's the one game I played to death on ...
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is yet another tremendous celebration of skateboarding, the video games that catapulted it into the mainstream, and the sport’s current slate of stars. I’d argue it has some curious design choices, both necessary and not, that perhaps leave one half of the package feeling a little slightly lesser than.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 sticks the landing with a clean kickflip and a modern twist. Iron Galaxy may have sanded off some of THPS4's open-ended charm, but what's left is a fine-tuned tribute to skateboarding. With excellent controls, deeper creation tools, and a diverse music and character roster (shoutout to our Aussie legends), the game is accessible and ridiculously fun. Even with a few bails, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 proves the Birdman's legacy can still shred.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 lives up to the original games and the previous remaster, but doesn't nail the landing quite as well.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 had it made with stellar gameplay and visuals but ultimately chose to forego some of the most essential parts of the original games. The results are fun but far from the best outcome.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 offers that much-needed shot of nostalgia, from a time where all any of us wanted to do was feel cool.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is still a Tony Hawk game at heart, and as expected, plays brilliantly. As a package, the plethora of content on offer is easily the best way to revisit the masterful skating experience that was THPS 3, even if it entirely overshadows the meek representation of THPS 4 within the title.
A solid remake that doesn't quite stick the landing thanks to some bewildering soundtrack choices
Whether you choose to buy it outright or play it through Game Pass, you will enjoy your experience so long as you know what you are getting into. We are glad to see that Bam Margera was added to the game, even if it was a last-minute input, and hope that he continues on his path of redemption.
owever, the improvements do not cancel out the fact that instead of two updated games, Activison offers essentially one.
