Neon Inferno Reviews
Arcade legends who cut their teeth on run-and-gun greats shouldn’t hesitate to join the Family for Neon Inferno’s new-school, old-school thrills.
Neon Inferno, despite its throwaway title, is a throwback to some of the best games of all time. It simply feels great to control, and while two-player can get a bit hectic, given the size of the sprites, it still is a fantastic hour and change to experience, even if the rating economy can hold back some of the additional weaponry you can bring into combat. Regardless, when it comes to the Shoot’em Up genre, Neon Inferno is a solid addition and was simply a blast to play.
If you're a survivor of the arcades or you simply like to bathe in a sea of bullets, with Neon Inferno you'll feel like you're in pixelated glory

Paired with its stunning visuals, it’s an incredible experience that fans of the genre simply can’t miss.
Neon Inferno is an excellent game which offers a nice unique twist on the 2D run and gun genre. The mix of both genres works out surprisingly well. The game will keep players on their toes with its addictive and solid gameplay. The different levels of difficulty will keep players busy for sometime. While there are some minor nuisances such as too much at once and not buying able to move while shooting in the background, these things are easy to adapt to and are parts of the game’s charm. Neon Inferno is one of the best games I’ve played in recent memory and deserves your time and money. Don’t believe me? Try the demo for yourself.
I actually have very little to complain about Neon Inferno. It’s just an incredibly well-crafted action platformer with amazing visuals, great controls, a tough-but-fair level of difficulty, and some visceral setpieces. Even if cyberpunk games just don’t impress me as much as they used to nowadays, this little gem stands out by simply being one of the most entertaining action platformers I’ve seen in a while.
